Funeral Director Jay Spencer and DeerCreek Funeral have helped families like yours make final arrangements for their loved ones. We provide compassionate, affordable funeral and cremation services. Locally owned and operated, Deer Creek offers comprehensive funeral services to clients throughout the San Francisco Bay area. The main office is located in San Leandro with branch offices in Walnut Creek and Dublin. We handle all arrangements according to the wishes of the deceased, if previously expressed, or the deceased's loved ones. Helping you through this difficult time with dignity is our purpose. Whether arranging a cremation, choosing the appropriate casket or urn, local memorial service, local burial, or an out-of-state burial, all of the details are meticulously cared for and nothing is overlooked.

Do NOT use this place! My mom passed away May 21st and she had paid these people for pre need. I went in spoke with Jay he said well the prices for some things have gone up so I paid the difference, got a beautiful urn for her and told him that I needed her to be shipped to me (I live in GA) he charged me extra to have her sent to me Fedx and told me due to the holiday no one would be doing anything for 4 days, so she would arrive to me the first week of June. Well here it is June 7th and I called spoke with Jay who said well there was a issue with the death certificate and he did not control that so they would ship my mom in the next couple of days and she should arrive to me sometime next week ok, bye bye. He rushed to get me off the phone, did not care I was upset and he told me he would call me back in a hour or two. I was angry so I called him back and told him you will tell me what is going on, you didn't even call me or anything you get the money and you run! He said he was busy and started to sound like he was crying at a potential clients home. I wanted to tell him put that person on the phone so I can tell them never to use you! I told him he better call me back in a hour. I will go back to Cali and sit in front of his desk and make him sweat until I have my mom. Horrible service a true ripoff! I sent a complaint to the BBB as well
