I have been a long time Salvio's customer but no longer. I waited over an hour for delivery and when it arrived, the pizza was cold. While waiting for my pizza, I called Salvio's 3 times. They did not apologize nor care nor could they tell me anything but be patient. I experienced a very similar situation almost 2 months ago at Salvio's when I went to pick up my pizza. I thought I would give them another try before giving up on them. Needless to say, I am taking my business elsewhere.

If you deliver good customer service your customer will tell 3 people about it, if you deliver bad customer service your former customer will tell 30. Thanks to the internet now billions of people can see how bad you did.
My experience with Salvio's tonight was the worse experience I have ever had in my life. Salvio's has been on a downhill slide for a while now and tonight they just went over the edge. If you order there make sure that you get what you order prepared the way you wanted it because if you want to speak to the manager about the problem they have none. The food shows a lack of concern but the service is even worse. The service shows a ""better than the customer attitude"" that should never be the case. If you complain you're a trouble maker, if you say something bad about the place, they will never forget you. Well remember this guys, the customer is always right even when he's wrong, that's how you can have a thriving business. As such there's never a wait to eat there. So you can get a dirty table fast, maybe they'll even wipe it down for you, maybe.

I went to Salvio's for lunch today and had a slice of the deep dish. I've been going to Salvio's for 3 years and have never seen the deep dish there before.
In a word, WOW! The sauce was bright, the cheese gooey and there was an unmistakable flavor of good quality extra virgin olive oil....and at $2.75 for a very large slice, it's a steal! Hopefully they will put the deep dish (and the ricotta pizza - hint, hint) on the regular menu.

The first time we went there we found the pizza to be 2nd to none. In the last two visits we were really disappointed. First we order the 18"" cheese pie. When it was brought to our table the bottom was seriously burned. I complained and they offered another but I asked for a refund. We took some friends there on 6/4 and order the same pizza. When we tried to pick up a slice the whole center of the pie was like soup. We ate what we could and did not complain, I noticed that the table next to us also ordered a pizza and returned it twice. Could not figure out what the complain was. The people behind the counter looked different and don't remember seeing them before. What we ate was good, but we were disappointed. Will not try again. Has a new owner taken over?

My family and I love Salvio's food. We have tried the pizza, spaghetti & meatballs, lasagna and meatball sub. Everything tasted wonderful and was the way italian food should be. We try something new every time we go and have not been disappointed yet. The first time I went I just stopped in for a quick lunch in between my weekend chores lokking pretty shabby but was treated like I was their most important customer. You should go there! DELICIOUSO!
They have the best pizza and subs I have ever had. I go at least once every week or so and everything on their menu is excellent. They always greet me when I walk in and they are very nice people . Ohh and their Chicken Tenders and Mozzarella Sicks are to die for!!! Awesome big screen TV too!

I Love good Pizza (despise bad pizza). We heard about Salvio's from a couple of my Son's friends, (isn't it funny how that ""Word of Mouth"" stuff works ?). Whether or not it's intentional, the flavors of the all-natural ingredients in their Pizza explode! And not in the single, melded sense. It's actually.....well, ....Fun to eat!
We used to order our Pizza with several toppings in an attempt to get good flavor. No more! Salvio's Pepperoni and Cheese is more than enough to excite the taste buds! Great Stuff Guys....Keep it up!............oh, the two Less-than-Stellar Reviews below..........Obviously written by Low-Skill Competitors ! Note that this is each one's only review....not very trustworthy.

I used to get pizza at this place for the last year and it was absolutely great, all of the sudden the dough started to get really chewy and the overall quality went down hill. Did it change ownership? I'm really disappointed since I live really close to this place. Now I need to find a new place.

I was hoping this place was going to be good. That's what I get for litening to someone that likes chain store pizza. Our table was filthy. I would not recomend this place to anyone that is looking for good taste and quality. Very disapointing and on top of that the staff is rude and not very professional.

When I'm in Cary I usually eat at Salvio's if I'm in the mood for pizza or a sub. The other night I tried another place with an Italian name off of 64, I won't name names, but it made me realize how good Salvio's really is. The older guy that works there even looks and talks like he is an authentic Italian, but even if he isn't the food is amazing. I recommend the Margherita Pizza and the Italian Sub. Great prices, great food, what more can you ask for?

I was searching and searching for the taste of NY pizza here in the triangle. Found some alright places, stopping after going to Cinelli's in Cary. Oh man am I glad I thought to look for a Ralph's Italian Ice in the area. It's in the same plaza as Salvio's! What more could you ask for? So I ventured into Salvio's thinking it was gonna be another bad experience, but I could not have been more wrong. It is by far the best pizza in the area. Make you way down and order anything, it's all good! Go, NOW, I MEAN IT!

I have been to MANY pizza places in the Triangle (Mellow Mushroom, Daniel's, Vincent's, NY Pizza, Sal's, Brooklyn Brothers, etc...) and I think Salvio's is simply....The Best. He orders his ingredients from NYC, so as to make his pizza as authentic NY style as you can get. He truly succeeds. Great pizza. My family makes it a habit to eat there every week.

Last month I went to Patsy's in Harlem... the best of the best in the Pizza world. One of NYC's Finest. I thought the taste, the atmosphere, the sounds, the smells, etc. could not be duplicated. They (Salvio's) are as close as you can get outside of the 5 boroughs... The food is great, the place is clean and authentic, listen close and hear Neopolitan Italian behind the scenes, what more can we ask for in Cary? You gotta try it.

Talk about your ""mom and pop"" restaurant... this restaurant fits the bill!! You walk into a spotless restaurant where the floor reflects your image. You're greeted by Sal, the Italian, ""Mr. Personality"". My family has pulled tables together there for a family gathering. The pizza's outstanding, especially the Ranchero which features a white base with tomatoes, bacon and ranch dressing. Or you could try a hot Italian sub sandwich... don't forget to try the Tiara misu -- delicious!!

I've only lived in Cary for about 6 months, but I think I've tried every place there is to get pizza and Salvio's blows them all away. The pizza is the best you can get without going to New York (or Italy)! And the service is excellent. The owner always seems to take the time to chat with the patrons! Oh, and the large pizza is so big, it barely fits in the box!
