I LOVE THIS STORE! A couple of years ago, I needed to update/add-to my home decor...and do so economically. I literally shopped here for months and could not be happier with the quality and prices of the inventory. The owners and sales team are amazing! They are so friendly and helpful...yet allow you to browse and shop without being overbearing. The ambiance is inviting, relaxing, welcoming and so pleasant. This is one of my favorite stores and my go-to place just to browse or specific needs. No. 1 in my book for top consignment store!
Poor selection of clothing. Dated, boring merchandise, some in poor condition. Not worth the trip.
I was amazed after reading these reviews!!! I have been shopping and consigning here for the longest time. I did however notice these we old reviews. I still think I should let everyone know how much enjoy this store and all the ladies who work there. I recommend it to anyone and everyone. Every year they get voted best consignment shop and best place to buy furniture and I am one of their voters !!!
Staff was friendly and helpful. Dresses were clean and well organized by size making it easy to find what I was looking for. I found a beautiful dress but needed to have it altered. They also were able to give me a referral to a great alteration place as well.
From The Perfect Piece owners in response to Buyer Beware. As owners we strive to satisfy all of our customers. The gentleman below purchased a consignment (pre-owned) sleeper sofa from our store. Five days after the purchase the customer called to let us know of his predicament. The sofa DID fit into his home but NOT into a particular room in his home with a small door. We offered several solutions including reconsigning the sofa in our store. Our store policy is no refunds/exchanges and this is posted at the counter and on the sales receipt. We are saddened anytime a customer is unhappy
BUYER BEWARE!!! - All sales are final. We unfortunately purchased a new couch (not a consignment item) that would not fit through the door to our house. I was told repeatedly "sorry, all sales are final". Well, of course, I have told my friends not to shop there...and now I'm telling you. The story just got better. The owner called me asking that I remove my Facebook post (same as above). It looks like they removed it for me...so don't post anything negative about the store on Facebook, they'll just remove it :>
Selected them based on needing an item by a delivery date, to which they agreed. The day before, my wife called to find out when to pick it up. The owner got very defensive and hung up on her. Not sure how they stay in business. Needless to say, did not have a finished item by date needed and, in fact, had to have the partial work redone because of poor quality. The owner, of course, kept the deposit. Avoid at all costs.
HORRIBLE! I called Gorgeous Gowns and asked them if they had any dresses in stock that were size 0. The lady on the phone confidentally said "Yes!" I then asked her about how many she thought they had and she said "about 8-10." I was soo happy that a bridal shop had so many size 0s because they are very uncommon. Little did I know, this trip would be a HUGE waste of my time and a HUGE waste of gas for me. I drove from Garner to Cary and when I got to the store I looked around for the size 0s but the smallest size I could find were 2s. After a few minutes of searching, a lady came out from the back of the store and I asked her where the size 0s were. She said they were up infront of the 2s. I said I already looked there. Turns out they had NOT A SINGLE SIZE 0 IN THE ENTIRE STORE. I even told the lady that I called not even an hour earlier and was told there were 8-10 size 0s here. All she could say was, "Oh, I'm sorry." I was sooo mad with this store and it's employees. Beware, if you call this store before visiting, they'll obviously lie and tell you anything you want to hear just to get you in their store. STAY AWAY!
Don't buy at this store....if you pay for items and don't take them with you they will sell them again. It happened to us this week. We bought a chandelier and other items and paid for them. I have the receipt with an item number listed. We asked if they could "hold' the item until we had our movers pick it up in about 2 weeks. They said they could. When the movers delivered the other items the Chandelier was missing. I called and the lady said it had been sold to someone else. We were at the new residence at this time. I asked if they could call the new buyers and let them know it had already been sold. They said no. The lady tried to apologize but couldn't give much explanation. I asked why the computer inventory didn't flag the transaction. She didn't know. I even called several days before the move to insure all items would be picked up. I think they need to improve their computer system. They offered me a 15% discount on any item. I told them I would not be shopping there again. I asked that they send me a refund plus interest. They need to improve their business practices or train their employees better.
