feel so comfortable bringing my Morkie here. They treat her like the princess that she is. Missy always has a nice thing to say about my dog. I feel safe leaving her there, I have never been disappointed.
We have been going to Dr. K and the Chatham Animal hospital for nearly 30 years. He has taken us through cats with cancer, a bitey little spoiled brat of a dog, and he has given us the most considerate care. Everyone at Chatham Animal Hospital loves animals. And Dr. K is a true scientist. He once spent a whole weekend of his own time researching a problem with one of our cats and called us on Sunday. He is the real deal. True blue. We can't say enough good things about Chatham Animal Hospital, all of the doctors who work there and Dr. K especially - who started this practice with his true love of animals nearly 30 years ago.
Lindsey Lin the last weekI have never written a negative review before but I believe that it is important to share my experience as it is important to me that the owners are aware of their behavior and I do not wish that your pets will have to go through the same experience as mine. It was appalling to witness the groomer's negative attitude towards a customer and hear about her aggressiveness towards my pet. Not only did the groomer restrain my pet but I suspect there was mistreatment towards him as he is well potty trained but the groomer shared that he had made an accident on her, twice. My pet has been to many groomers in the past and we have never received this report before. My pet was shaken up when we went to pick him up and it was very difficult to see how much fear she has instilled in him. I am both shocked and disappointed to see my dog being treated in this way and believe you should be made aware of the groomer's actions.
I've taken my Golden three times so far and have been extremely pleased with the professional services received. Friendly, caring and knowledable staff. Excellent services and very reasonably priced. Would highy recommend this groomer.
Missy is the best groomer in town!!! She is gentle, kind, and wonderful with our dog, Beasley. We followed her from Petsmart and would travel a LONG way for her care.
If I could give Dr. Suter a THOUSAND stars, I would!!! She is probably the #1 reason (outside of God's grace) that my beloved dog is still alive today. She is not only brilliant in her profession, but the most genuinely caring doctor I've EVER met.I came to her in a terrible, unexpected critical situation, as an out of town guest (not even a patient of record). Dr. Suter went above and beyond (to put it mildly) the call of duty in every way to not only save my boy, but make sure the 24 hour care he received after we left her office was executed to the highest standards. She communicated with me and the other vets tirelessly, all along, with the most warm-hearted affection and kindness. This woman hangs the moon as far as I'm concerned and I would drive 2 hours to see her if my pet needed "The Best of the Best" anytime!
I inquired about daycare and boarding. I have two children, two and 6 months, my husband travels for work. I don't have that much time to exercise the dog with everything else on my plate and that's why I was trying to get help. I was trying to do what's best for everyone and get the dog more exercise and attention. She told me to treat my dog like my third child and make time. I just don't have anymore time. She made me cry. I was looking for help not to be judged. I will not use this place or recommend this place. If it was an option I would give zero stars.
I have gone to Mayfair for 4 years and will never go back. There has definitely been turnover in staff that has changed the whole feeling of the place. The only caring and compassionate vet there is Dr. Bristol. That being said, the practice cares about $$$$, over charges and refuses to work with you on providing care that your animal needs. Beware that if you question anything you will not get a doctor but a 'practice manager' who doesn't even know your pet's name and could care less. The vet tech didn't once stroke or make friendly with my pet, a far cry from the warmth I have experienced in the past from the staff. This most recent experience, where they do not genuinely care about the well being of your animal was new to me at Mayfair. Extremely disappointed in their attitude and behavior. Take your pet elsewhere.
I've taken my dog here twice since they've opened and she looked great both times and was very happy. They have a great staff and can tell that they truly love dogs. I would recommend this shop to anyone.
10 out of 10 !!!!! Best vet experience ever! I only wish we had switched to PetSound sooner. The dental bill was a fraction of what we had been paying. More importantly, the staff had a very calming affect on my high strung pooch. They didn't overly drug her or keep her for hours and hours after her cleaning. She was happy when I picked her up, and she didn't try to bite anyone. I expected our bill to be $600-$800 (as it had been in the past at our old vet) so when it was under $300 you could have knocked me over with a feather. She got shots, an exam, a cleaning, her nails clipped, and some other stuff like x-rays. They are very honest and I truly believe they care about my dog. I'd suggest everyone goes there, even if you are happy with your vet, just have them give you a second look before you let your vet pull teeth. You might be pleasently surprised, I was.
