Called last week and made reservation to pick up my car on 10/7 for travel to Florida - asked representative that I spoke with if I needed to give payment information to hold reservation - was advised not info needed at this time. I call a couple of days before the reservation and they advise me they don't have a van available for rental at this time. I told them I made a reservation to ensure we had vehicle. They said sorry that was a pending reservation so it was not valid. I asked why would I make a reservation to call and find out we don't have a vehicle available. The office staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful. Their attitude was like oh well if we have one come in we will call you. I was very upset and they continued to tell me they had done everything correct and I was at fault because of pending status of reservation. I ask to speak to manager to address issue. I was advised please hold and was put on permanent hold and now they won't answer phone when I call back. I would be very cautious if trying to book car with them.
We made a reservation for a Premium car. We arrived and they wanted to put us in a Fiesta. We asked them to call another location and they told us they were reserved for Premium customers!! We are 5 Star Gold members. They offered to get us a car from 45 miles away but we told them we needed the car at 10 am not mid to late afternoon. I've never seen such extreme incompetence and lack of customer service. You're better off walking than dealing with this location!!
