I have never reviewed anything in my life, but after my experience at venitian theatres, I felt I had to do something. Where do I even begin? I'll start with the most ridiculous and go backwards For those of you who don't have time to read a long review. I showed up early to get good seats and to get my food ordered before the movie began. Little did I know I would have to stand in line only to be let in five minutes before the movie began. When I asked why we had to wait so long I was given two different answers: One was we have to make sure there is enough silverware for everybody. (Because we all know how silverware alleviates throbbing feet!) The answer I got the second time I asked was: "The movie that played before yours shows something at the very end of the credits so we are unable to cut this movie short which means we have to keep you out here while the movie ends." (Seriously.) "But don't worry We will start your movie late so that everyone has a chance to order their food" (that's perfect for anyone with a babysitter or scheduled plans or for someone who showed up an hour ago to see their movie on time) My boyfriend And I were the first ones in, and we placed our order button immediately, having so much time (40 minutes) to look at the menu. No one came to order our food until after the movie started--and yes they started it late-- we waited 15-20 minutes for someone to come take our order. They bring out my boyfriends food but not mine-- don't worry though they didn't forget it on the bill! Bear in mind: NO ONE HAD SILVERWARE when their food was delivered-- good thing we waited right? My drink was never refilled even though our waitress passed by several times and I specifically pushed my button and (30 minutes later) asked for a refill that came 30 minutes after that as the credits were rolling. And no, they couldn't give me a to go cup because they serve alcohol, even though neither my boyfriend or I ordered alcohol. Besides all this venitian theaters never knows what shows they will play from day to day and at what times. It's run like a zoo and no one there gives two sh:t$ about the people who are paying. We will never go back. I would go to another movie theatre even if the cost was triple. Please save yourself the trouble-do not step foot in this place.

This is my weekly getaway - my wife and I have been coming and having our date night here since they opened. The staff is always nice and the friend shrimp is something I crave every week. I know Salvador from the country club and he is great - it's always nice to see a familiar face.

Slow service

Ordered food almost an hr ago and still no food. Now this is truly a problem for someone like myself because I am hypoglycemic and I ur the risk of having issues with low blood sugar which can be a dangerous situation for someone like myself. This is unacceptable.

The place is beautifully prese...

The place is beautifully presented, however, the service did not meet the quality expected. To watch a 7:00 PM showing of Skyfall, we waited in line to get a ticket for about 30 minutes as only one person was selling tickets. We may have come during a shift change but that was besides the point. Once we were in the theater and ordered food, we had to wait nearly an hour to receive it. Instead, we were continuously brought the incorrect items of Lady Fingers Sandwich by one person and scotch and a beer by another. Once we received our food, it had already gone cold. My girlfriend had a refill of her Dr Pepper and the bottom of the glass had a crack and was dripping all over her. Near the end of the movie, after the meal, they brought us a bill for Lady Fingers Sandwich, scotch, and beer, which would have been cheaper than what we had, but we sorted it out to get me the correct bill. I'm not upset about our experience, although if you are going to present yourself as a premier theater with class, the service should meet up to the same quality.

Came here last night for Hallo...

Came here last night for Halloween to see Rocky Horror - so much fun!



They had the Los Bastardos shadow cast (that I follow like a lost puppy! Love them) and the venue was super cool for the event - throwing toilet paper is way more fun in stadium seating! My girlfriend and I had these cool drinks called The Color Purple - they had purple glow sticks in them!!!! I didn't have any food, because we ate before but will definitely have some next time - the kitchen smelled so tasty while we were waiting in line. And the waitress who brought our drinks was really sweet - I think she was dressed like a Tim Burton character or something / we can't wait to go back for a date night.

The food was horrible 5 star chef my @88 they put us in the wrong movie¡ wow then they offer us free movie passes that expire in a few days what the fudge!

December 1983, While the nature of your comments is definitely not respectful nor professional, I am still truly sorry you did not enjoy the food. Truthfully, I have rarely heard complaints about our food, as Salvador Hernandez is a 5 star chef - he has worked for the Dallas Country Club and Stonebriar Country Club as their head chef for many years. If you did not enjoy your food, in the future, please let a manager know; we are happy to get you something else or take care of you in a different way. I know our chef always takes care of his clients and would never let someone be unhappy. As for you being placed in the wrong movie, I also apologize for that and I will ensure we speak with the box office staff today to rectify it. Your comp passes (while they say they expire) are honored regardless of date. Though I do understand your frustration in thinking that we were trying to get you in sooner. I am sorry those were handed out to you and I will make sure management gets rid of those immediately. I know we got new comp passes in last week so this will not be an issue going forward. Amazing food, Killer Theater. ...

Amazing food, Killer Theater. I went a few days ago. This place has a really cool look and feel. I figured the food would be like studio movie grill (cheap quality, expensive prices) but I was really surprised. The food was reasonably priced and pretty much top notch. The theatre was pretty killer. Great sound and picture. Comfortable recliners. I would definitely recommend it.

This place is amazing! I expected the typical small screen and overpriced bad theater food. However, the screens were huge and the sound system was so so great I'm surprised that my drink didn't just rattle off the counter. The seats are really comfortable... I figured out about half-way through that they recline. The food was delicious and priced well below what I expected based on the fact that it was a movie theater (and they have actual entrees!!) It was an awesome date night. We will be going back for sure.

Overall we were very happy wit...

Overall we were very happy with our experience. We had read the reviews online and are happy to report our food was great and very hot. You can tell they have been paying attention to the reviews and making corrections. There was an issues with the aspect ratio of the movie but within the first few minutes the staff was aware of the issue and moved us to another theater. We were also given a coupon for a free appetizer to help make up for it. I really like that the theater is family owned and willing to go the extra mile to make the experience a great one. We will be going again in the future.

I read the three reviews prior to mine and I think the owner wote that the first one is just too much... Anyways I went there opening week I took into consideration that its a new theatre and the employees are still trying to figure out what works. I ordered a pizza that was way over priced and way too small then I washed it down with an over priced margarita that was like water I tell you water I really mean water looks like they had made it and it sat there for half the movie then they brought it out. When I asked for ranch the waiter seemed fusterated and said he will be right back... Never saw him agian I was gonna complain to the manager but I thought id give them a chance since they were new so I come back last night to see paranormal activity the tucket lady didnt seem to notice I was standing there untill the manager told her she had customers tgis time I dint order any of their over priced under portioned food selection or any of their alcohol "water" instead I ordered two root beers and to my suprise it came out in time but I only got one when I asked for the second one it never came out so unless you want to throw your maoney away and not get quality service go to the venetian theatre. It is by far the worst business ive been to. They should close down for a week and actually take the time to train their employees so they know what they are doing. I will not be going back EVER.i actually took the time to create an account just to write this review thats how displeased I was

Dton3s, To begin, please do not make accusations about us posting fake reviews online. Not only is that disrespectful to us as people, but to our business; and, it is completely untrue. Now, you mentioned that your fist visit was during open week, during which time we were working out a lot of kinks and weeding through employees. Obviously, when you open you have to find out who and what works and what or who doesn’t. The pizza you mentioned that was too small is now 25% bigger and was changed after the first 2 weeks of business. The margarita you mentioned was being hand blended and due to inconsistency we bought a margarita machine, which we have been using for many weeks now. Since these 2 changes we have had no complaints about our pizza or our margaritas. You then mention that you came back to give us another try – I will speak to the box office, as not being acknowledged is not acceptable and I am sorry she did not notice you immediately. While I am sorry you were to unhappy and “actually took the time to create an account just to write this review thats how displeased I was” I still want to offer you 2 comp passes and a comp entrée (1) to come back and see us regardless of your distaste. Please show the box office this response and they will take care of you. You have to understand that being open only 2 months we still have a lot to learn. We are not a corporation, just a family owned business trying to compete in this corporate world. Our staff has worked very hard to learn and change based on customer feedback and feedback from management. While we try to be the best we can be, not everything is perfect all the time. In the future, though you decided not to get a manager last time you were at the theater, please – get a manager. That is what we are there for; to manage the floor and take care of all of our customers on our shift. If you do not give us a chance to fix your issue, well, how do you expect us to fix it? One of my friends recommended ...

One of my friends recommended this place the other day at work. She had gone last weekend and raved - so we took the crew after our overnight shift today.



So, we saw Looper at 2:00p.



So, to begin the theater itself is very opulent and the architecture is really cool. It is definitely something different and kind of a breath of fresh air. It gets old seeing the same old thing in every theater you go to so kudos to the owners on that. The ticket counter staff was really sweet and explained everything to us (cool side note: they have a concessions stand in the lobby so in case you don't want to eat you can get popcorn and soda // wine and beer, too ^_^)



The theater was really cool, too! Stadium seating (which I have only ever seen at Alamo Drafthouse) and super comfy chairs. They also put a rail on the floor so you don't crash into servers with your chair (watching out for the servers ;) )). We ordered a whole bunch of stuff - drinks were awesome! They have a fully stocked bar in the back that you come to even if you're not seeing a movie. And we got sliders, nachos, pizza and white chocolate nachos (whoa! to die for!) // all the food was really great! Our server was also super friendly and really took care of us // it really was different have such a great service in a movie theater setting - definitely rave about customer service!



Technologically - they definitely have it all! Big screens and BASS - wow. It totally shook my insides (and I am a music major, so that's saying a lot!)



This is for sure my favorite dine-in theater and the whole crew agreed! We have been to Studio Movie Grill, AMC Fork N Screen and Alamo Drafthouse -- and I only really ever liked Alamo Drafthouse. And now, I have 2 dine-in theaters I love // both different and both awesome!



Go to this place -- highly recommended. Great food, great people and great service ^_^

Great atmosphere

We went on the third day it opened and the staff was friendly and helpful. The decor was fun and the bar was great. The menu is by far the best and the food equally great.
