While the food is usually great (and tonight was no difference, mind you) the service I just received was absolutely horrible. The speaker experience was what you'd expect from a busy drive-thru at midnight, but it wasn't until I reached the window when things went south.I usually get two cook-out trays, one for my brother and one for I, and we "huge" size our drinks. The price always comes out to be a tidy $11.11. Tonight, it came out to be $11.43. When I reached the window, I asked the attendant to break down the prices for me, and she tells me along the lines of "Oh, I had already sent the order through when you asked for the drinks to be up-sized, so I did what my manager asked me to do and added something on there for the charge."Excuse me? Your manager asked you to take MORE money from people if they didn't ask for upsizes on time for you? When I asked why she couldn't just change it, she told me that she could not edit what was already sent through, and that that was my price. Really? We're not in the stone age here. If your software that you're running doesn't allow you to edit an order, you can't just cancel it and charge it correctly? You're instead going to take more money from people because they asked four or five seconds later for something?Afterwards, I was offered no apology, nor any sort of comeuppance for the price difference. If you charged me more than I usually pay, what did you charge me for exactly? Where is this item you just charged me for? Why do I not have that as well, if you're taking more of my money? In the end, yeah, its a charge of $0.32 extra, but if this is happening to more people, that's appalling, shameful, and shady practice that I do not expect to find out about from a restaurant like Cook-out.
They are friendly they are very nice very good food and very good employees and a great manager
My boyfriend and I ate here right when they opened. We give four stars and a possible fifth star after they're more settled in. My boyfriend had the Five Alarm Fire burger from their menu. He was thoroughly pleased and said it was now one of his favorite burgers in Carrollton! I am a bit boring when it come to food so I just had a plain beef hot dog with chips on the side. Even though it was a boring choice, it was still a very good one. It tasted like it was just off the charcoal grill and left me very much satisfied.
Two weeks ago, the Arby’s restaurant on South Park Street caught fire. The building sustained moderate damage, but should be easily renovated. Am definitely missing it.
If you don't ASK each time for sauce each and every time, you come home with NO sauce. I am the customer and not the server, they should ask each and every time. I drive tru about 3 times a week, but they have only one last chance before this is my last visit.
