Hide A Way Lake Club Guard House

Pretty lake, some ugly people, and some venomous snakes. Houses are overpriced for what you get so we looked at lots and signed to purchase one from a person living there. Unfortunately, plenty of the vacant lots for sale there are traps (can't be built on) because of drainage channels and when we were told that and wanted out, the snakes showed up and kept our full deposit! During that time we also decided to attend an event there to meet folks and enjoy the community - the kids seemed happy but the adults were generally unfriendly and looked unhappy to be there...... all those monthly fees to be around unhappy humans and snakes? No thanks! The security, though, seemed helpful at all times.
