After having my daughters wedding here I would never recommend anyone here. After many thing went wrong during the wedding, which we would have let go if the events later in the night did not happen, we had gone to the bar in Albertos. We thought maybe we would go have time to finally relax and enjoy a drink in the bar that we had rented out a room in. When arriving there my daughter was all excited telling the bartender that we are all coming down to have a drink and sit in the room that we were supossed to have. Well she decided to tell my daughter this "you are f***ing lucky I am working tonight, I got called in for you people and I am not staying open for this, I was not supossed to work tonight." Shocked we were trying to explain we had rented the room out and supossed to have it until 1:30am and this must be a misunderstanding...well she was not having that and dismissed everyone in our family, including Grama who was there standing next to us. Now completely upset my daughter may have told her she was being a b***h and that was not the way she should have handled it. We should not have been told she was called into work for us. We asked for a manager on duty to talked to and was told there was not one and there was nobody to help resolve this issue. So the next morning while she was bringing her credit card to the front where the manager was, to pay for a movie, the manager decided to take it upon her self to tell my daughter and son in law that she was the bartenders sister and we needed to know that they already wrote an email to the GM to tell him how rude we were...EXCUSE ME...who was rude and the only rude that came out was when defending our guests because we were completely embarrassed that this happened and now we are being told that this is our fault. And how professional is it for the MANAGER on duty to threaten the paying guests that she is the sister of the bartender they had issues with and threaten us with an email...I have never experienced such bad guest service in my life...especially after spending so much money in one night. There are better ways to deal with upset guests...even if she really had to close the bar there was no need to tell my daughter, the bride, that she was lucky she got called in to work for her...And to top it off the manager had to make sure they knew she was the sister to make them feel uncomfortable on the 2 nights they had together there after wedding...How about saying sorry we have to close and the room was not reserved for you but you know what it is your wedding night so lets get you a drink right away while we get this matter taken care of...That is all she would have had to say. After that we had finally talked to the GM and the wedding coordinator there and told them all the events occurring that night. Neither had much to say, nor did either apologize. But we were promised that we would get a phone call as soon as they can figure out what to do about this. Well its been 2 weeks and nothing...so we contacted corporate who told us that since we signed a contract for a wedding they cannot do anything about this. No apology and nothing about the staff they have working there. Who are you suppossed to call when these things happen? And is this how hotels want there guests treated...are they going to talk to the manager and bartender about what was said. Its a shame that this happened since we have been going to this hotel to have birthdays for my Grandson and to stay to swim, and have gone to Albertos to dine and drink. I dont think I could ever again. All we wanted was to know that they did care that these things happen and would apologize...NOTHING!!
