While there were few people in the waiting room, there was still a 60 minute wait.
The staff was friendly, but the P.A. Michael Darius was horrible.
He didn't introduce himself, use my name, or even look at my chart until he was in the room. He never mentioned my significant medical history or current treatment, and never let me finish a full sentence about what was going on. He didn't care to ask what I may be concerned about. Zero compassion. I've never had such a bad experience with a medical provider.
I will never be treated at Med 7 again.

Blk Men Don't even waste your time these Crackers aren't going to help a Brother. I need XRays & MRI's Skull cervical spine and lumbar spine. I'm in Severe pain and PA gives me ibuprofens No XRays, MRI's or physical therapy. Hire some Blacks Mexicans & Asians. Another Racist white supremacist medical establishment. Big Disservice to the community. On a 1-10 this place gets Zero my White Friend got all his pain meds plus some on the same day he went in the mourning and told me about the place. I came in the afternoon I'm the wrong shade of Brown Carmichael is Very Racist anther Klan Clinic that shows Racist Behavior to Black Men. 0 stars if you don't push a star it won't summit your Statement. -0 stars

Reception sets the tone...

My family & I have sought medical attention at this Urgent Care for years, always with excellent care and pleasant staff. My experience here remains so, for one exception.
Within 6 months to one year, there has been a new receptionist, Crystal (to discern among other receptionists). She is rude, obnoxious, combative and doesn't seem to understand what customer service requires.
If you happen to have a business issue which needs to be attended to, I suggest you ask to speak with someone else since she does not have any effective interpersonal skills. Don't let her tell you "No." or "There is no one else." Advocate for yourself and insist.
It is unacceptable for any patient to be treated so disrespectfully and unprofessionally.

Excellent Care

I've lived in Carmichael for 16 years and on several occasions, the most recent of which was a about 3 months ago, I have used this facility. If anything, the level of care and now, particularly since they are affiliated with the Sutter Medical system, their followup of patient visits has improved through the years. They are adequately staffed with friendly doctors, nurses and support staff to the extent that my wait time has been very reasonable, usually within 1/2 hour of arrival. This is my ""go-to"" place when I know I don't need to see my primary care physician or sub-specialist. I am very confident in their knowledge and highly recommed Med 7. It's particulrly good to know there are both a lab and x-ray capabilities at this location.

outstanding Doc in the box emergency care First class ++++

Outstanding!! fast and quick service and treatment! Filled out most of the paperwork after I was seen. Take care of the patient, rest of paperwork later! Waited about 6 minutes before being seen. A far cry from the emergency room at Sutter I almost went to. Next door neighbor saw me getting into my car to go and I told her where I was going and she said I would be treated fast and efficiently!! All true.

I had cut my left hand with a knife and it was very deep just below the little finger on the palm. Kept a paper towel on tight finally stopped bleeding. Was hoping I did not have to go It was very deep and just a minor bump and it started again. So after wife put on a double bandage and I finished two beers and two huge tacos, went there Found them nearby via a yahoo search Doc in the boxI can't say enough how well I was treated 8 stiches or so, so it was deep cut!! I hope I don't ever have to go again, but for an eergency, I know where to go! Thanks Doc K and all the staff for the excellent treatment I got tonite.

Terrible Service by Carmicheal Med 7 provider

I am writing because of the terrible service I received, that I felt was racist. For over the last 18 years, I lived in the Carmichael community: But the outrageous service I received 9-05-10, as was absolutely unacceptable. Yesterday, I had a need to go in for Emergency Care at your Med 7 Urgent Care Center in Sacramento, CA. After calling my own doctor's office: I was referred to ""Med 7 Urgent Care Center"" of Carmichael. I went in the early afternoon, on Sunday, September 5, 2010 at about 11:00 am. Comply with your requested (""Med 7) to fill out 3 of your required forms. While waiting to see a doctor, I was called up to receptionist window to prepay for service, I gave her my Visa credit card to prepay, a few moments later she approached me and stated my card was decline and she claimed she heard a tone/sound from the card machine it was declining my card. Oddly, I questioned her machine, and that it must be in error. At that point I told her, I felt I would wait and see my own doctors office because they only ask for a co pay fee and then billed me. not very people friendly

Professional Doc in the Box

Reception area is clean and organized. Wait line is well designed so you know where to stand. The front desk took my info and I was called in the order that I was received. I didn't have to wait very long at all...maybe 15 mins. When in the patient office I waited there for maybe another 5 mins. Dr. took the time to talk with me and let me ask questions instead of steamrolling me out of there. Better experience than my primary care physician's office.

Great Service & Care

I have been going to Med 7 for many years. Its much easier than going to my primary care or pediatrician for my kids. The staff is always friendly and wanting to help. The facility is clean and I love the bottled water they give you while your waiting. I mainly go to the Roseville location. Dr Sabin is there full time. Shes great. She listens attentively and addresses the problem. I currently have insurance but there are times when I havent had it and the prices have been reasonable. I will continue to use Med 7 whenever medical care is needed for myself and my family. Thank you Med 7 for great service.

Excellent Care

I was unable to get into my regular doctor. I went into MED7 and was taken care of promptly. The staff was friendly and the doctor took care of my problem. I would recommend MED7 to anyone needing urgent care services.

Great Service

I was very ill and was concerned I might have the Swine Flu. I went into MED7 and was treated promptly. The doctor was wonderful and I felt I was in good hands. I would recommend MED7 to anyone that is in need of urgent care services.

Manzanita Office

Receptionist was not helpful or knowledgeable. Didn't want to be bothered with anything outside the norm. I wasted my morning and went home WITHOUT ever seeing a doctor because she was not willing to help me.
What a lousy place!!!!!

Double check your PA's diagnosis

My 8 year old grandson was misdiagnosed last week. We were told (by a Med7 PA) that my young grandson had Herpes . We were so worried about how he would have gotten it and were told that it was common and there was nothing they could prescribe since he was only 8 years old. I asked if he should be on antibiotics & was told that wouldn't work on Herpes. Just put Neosporin & let it run it's course.

We thought perhaps he caught it at school. No one in the family has ever had it. To make a long story short. Here it is a week later & the sores spread over his mouth. This time we went to our regular physician and found out that he has impetigo, has needed antibiotic's and a prescription cream for this past week and has exposed classmates and numerous friends .

Now he will miss additional school days and has to suffer through more time with this infection. The Med7 PA should have sought the opinion of the Physician to verify his diagnosis.

If you get examined by a PA- just ask for the doctor to confirm the findings. Needless to say we won't be taking our children back to Med7. I should have waited to schedule an appt. at my doctors office the following day.
