Carmichael Care & Rehabilitation Center

I have my mother and father in Sun Bridge Carmichael...they are very happy with the place. They really love the staff, and even like the food. I moved them from a rather high end board and care facility and they are getting much better care at Sun Bridge. I had my parents in Manor Care, as the last author suggested, for a couple of months when I first moved them out here and was very dissatisfied with the care that they received in that facility. I'm satisfied with the care my parents are getting. I like that there are activities like bingo and church; overall it's by far the best facility I've come across. Also...just an FYI, I'm a vocational nurse and have worked in several SNF facilities over the years. I consider myself an authority on the matter.

I have been living at SunBridge Carmichael for almost three years now, and although there are very good people working there, there is a core of managerial people there that are very bad. The Director of nurses is especially bad, hiring only members of her own race and demeaning all others. She extends that care to her patients whom she cares nothing about but the bottom line every month. She cuts care and treatment of her patients so she can remodel the building to attract wealthier customers who would be swayed by the appearance of the site. I can tell you, if your potential loved one has any brains or willingness to improve himself, this is not the place for you. Try Manor Care or anywhere else for that matter.
