To put it simply, Beaver Cleaners has successfully ruined a formal dress, has lied to us about repair/replacement and is currently unwilling to resolve this issue that has gone on for a few weeks now. If you value your clothing, appreciate good customer service, cannot tolerate being lied to and appreciate honesty and integrity in your business dealings, you MUST NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BEAVER CLEANERS! It is unfortunate that this business should be award ANY stars at all.
About a month and a half ago, I brought in my dry cleaning, as I did before for about 6 months. I picked up the items, total bill around ~$65 for 10 items, and brought them home. I noticed none of the items were button or had their couplings on. For about $7 an item, I would expect them to buttom the items and place the couplings back on. I called them about it and the guy laughed at me on the phone. This pissed me off, so I went to the store and the man who administered the front actually laughed and belittled me when I asked him to button my 10 items and place couplings on. The manager was then called to the front and then apologized for the rudeness of his employee and promised me a discount if I came back.
Today I was in need of dry cleaning and called the store to make sure they would honor the discount and the now special request of putting buttons back on (they had done this on previous visits). The employees, about 3-5 of them, played phone tag with me, hung up on me a few times (and I was very polite when asking to speak to the manager). Finally I was able to reach the manager and explain the issue and he ended up hanging up on me too.
So disappointing because I would appreciate to find a good customer service experience in a Carmel dry cleaner. Any recommendations please?
They cannot seam to get garments clean or in the condition they were in when they arrived. I had a silk shirt that came back to me with holes and tears in the sleves. They had burned a very expensive dress of mine and when I tried to get a hold of the owner he would not speak to me. I was not able to get anything done about my ruined clothes. Chris is a lowlife owner who dose not want to deal with people. He wants to do half a job if anything and pass it off as cleaned.
