Little Swiss Cafe

Don't ever take a dog in this place! We took our service dog in this restaurant and the owner was not nice at all about it saying that he had just "recently reupholstered and did not wnat it messed up".and insisted that a 9 lb dog had to be on the floor where everyone could step on him, instead of allowing him to stay on my lap, where he usually stays. The dog, which is obviously a very well groomed Toy Schnauzer, could not possibly harm his precious upholstery.

The extremely small table we were put at was mounted to the floor; and could not be moved to allow more space for my spouse. I guess that their review for a national restaurant rating service will have to wait--because we walked! It was the attitude of this owner and the wait staff that was a major concern, he was extremely abusive in his attitude! This is tolerated in Carmel-by-the-Sea, which is supposed to be one of the most dog friendly towns in the country? And this business doesn't take credit cards? Get serious, in this day and age, who carries cash? Makes one suspicious of the objectives of this business.
