Kelley Zaun is a terrible fraud and she will take your last dime without a thought to the consequences, or harm it may cause you. Kelley and her staff are embezzling from property owners and tenants alike. Kelly tells the owner that the tenant is not paying rent and keeps the money herself. She never really files eviction notices because this would expose her embezzlement scheme. She has no need to evict when the tenant is paying promptly. She will not pay your HOA dues either and you won’t find out until the HOA is ready foreclose on your home for non-payment. I have never encountered such a shrewd, scheming, deceitful, con artist. Mary has been coached so well she will lie to your face. Kelley is a horrible, mean, devious person that you do not want to encounter.
PROPERTY OWNERS AND TENANTS BEWARE!!!Kelley Zaun is a crook and she should be in jail for embezzlement! As a matter of fact, she may be very soon. She is keeping the owners rent money and in some cases she will tell you that the tenant hasn't paid for a few months and that she needs to have them legally evicted, which takes another 90 days, and she keeps every dime that the tenant has paid to her. She will evict the tenant by telling them that the property owner has fallen on hard times and must sell the home, but in reality, the tenant is being evicted for paying rent on time! The only reason the property owner is having a hard time is because Kelley is keeping funds intended for said owner. Kelley keeps the money and lies to both owner and tenant. Protect your property and protect your investment. Kelley will scam you just like she did all of other people who had the poor luck of meeting this woman and being scammed into doing business with her.
I wanted to share that I really enjoyed meeting Kathy who was showing me a house. It was so refreshing to work with someone so very professional.
Worst company ever! You need your water shut off so your plumber can do some work, well you have to pay $300 to another plumbing company to shut off the water, because the switch is locked behind a door. That's what $350 a month in home association fees gets me, an extra $300 on my plumbing bill. Screw you curtis management!
After 5 years as a Chamberlain tenant, my husband and I have bought a new home. I am ever grateful for their help 5 years ago when we needed to find a quick rental. At the time Greg Gorsuch was assigned to us as our property manager. Greg was amazing. He loves his job and it shows. He was quick to reply to my concerns and questions, checked on us monthly either by call or email. Greg always made us feel cared for. Not like "tenants." 2 years ago, when the owner of the house we were living in decided to sell the home, Greg communicated promptly between the owners and us and made that time as smooth as possible for both parties. He helped us transition to a new Chamberlain home and to a new property manager.
I deal with Carousel as an owner who rents out the house. I have nothing but great things to say about Carousel AND Kelley! We tried managing on our own for a few years and just got reamed right and left. Ever since we found Carousel about three years ago, our property has been consistently rented, our property has been maintained, and we've received our rent on time every single month with the exception of a couple of months ago, when they were changing banks and things got a bit screwed up for awhile. But all is clear now, and Kelley and Mary are both great. Hiring Carousel Properties to manage our rental home was the absolute best decision we've ever made in regards to this property!
I know it is tough working between my needs and the needs of my renter. I appreciate all of your hard work. So glad I made the switch to Chamberlain Property Management!

The worst ever Management, I've been living in this property (Stratford Apartments) in El Cajon for more than 5 years & I never had a problem with sunset management, everything was perfect whether the parking spots or dealing with any problem plus immediate response to any request.With this awful new management(Macbeth Apartments) it's been like HELL, really hell, disrespected apartments' managers, harassing residents, threatening, discrimination, taking pictures of the cars ... etc.The management in Carlsbad never respond to calls or complains, they are always on the managers' side.
