I bought a Living Social deal ...

I bought a Living Social deal for two facials and microdermabrasion at Era Skin Lounge. At my first scheduled appointment, no one showed up or called me. I called and left messages while standing outside the door for half an hour, but no one ever got back to me. I called them the following week to reschedule. At my first appointment, I found the facility to be cute inside and the facial went fine - not the best or most effective facial I've ever had, but it was moderately relaxing. The aestheticians were not dressed professionally, but every business is run differently and I can respect wanting to be very comfortable while giving facials all day. I scheduled my next facial during that appointment. I scheduled a week earlier than they suggested for the next microdermabrasion to be sure my husband would be home to be with our kids. He is deploying, so this was really the last weekend I could do it. As I left to go to my 2 pm appointment, I noticed a voicemail on my phone. It was a message from Era Skin Lounge, asking where I was for my 1 pm appointment. I have an appointment card from them with the date and time on it, and it doesn't say 1 pm, it says 2pm. When I talked to them on the phone and told them, they said, "Well, I already have a 2 pm scheduled today," and wanted me to reschedule AGAIN. I can't. And now I don't want to either. They are not nice, or apologetic, and they haven't even tried to make an attempt to keep my business. I am going to try and get a partial refund from Living Social, but even if that doesn't happen I will just take the $44.50 loss and take my business to a spa with good customer service next time.
