This store is one reason why people call this mall the 'ghetto mall'. The store has some cute, inexpensive looks, but the salespeople, er, watchdogs, don't do anything to help you, let alone crack a friendly smile. Also, the music is modern, I like that, but I don't like listening to a song that is promoting b*&%hes and N-ers. They could get more business from a wider demographic if they'd clean up their act in all areas! Won't be surprised if it's OOB in months.
These employees are the absolute worst, very rude and disrespectful. I wanted to try on a belt, they are all folded and ink tagged so you are unable to try them on. I asked the woman at the register to remove the tag so I can try it on and she said "you can try it on in front of me so that you don't steal it" I have never been so appalled in my life. I almost dropped the belt and walked out right then. I decided to get the belt because I had no other options, and when I was checking out the same woman was very rude during the transaction. Never in my life will I return to this store. I wish I could give them 0 stars!
The employees are the rudest workers I have ever met. Even after receiving rude service, I still proceeded to compliment one of them and went ignored. I'm only giving this store two stars instead of one because the clothes are nice(even though the strap of a blouse I bought tore off a day after I bought it, I'm not kidding, that doesn't bother me much, though- easily fixed). I was also rushed out of the store while finalizing my sections like the person below.

I would put zero stars, but I don't think this review forum will let me. My co-worke had a return of 4 items, with all the receipts except 1 -but it had the tag and was also the exact same pair of pajama pants that she did have a receipt for. They offered a store credit for the 3 items and $19.99 (originally $40.00 plus dollars) for the pair we didn't have the receipt. So, my friend called her husband who was able to provide the transaction number and eventually after a lot of "carrying on" and "inconveniencing" the cashier-they issued a store credit. I would never even step in that store again. We did speak to the store manager and she was super sweet. My biggest concern is that this is how J Crew runs their store and upper management needs to know. As a past employee, of a very well known retailer, who is known for customer service this was such a turn off. We work hard for our money so now I know where NOT to spend it.
