West End Cafe

Nestled in the corner of an ordinary shopping center, is a very extraordinary restaurant: West End Cafe. Owner-chef Bill Holden has managed to keep this restaurant contemporary, exciting and a true gastronomical delight for over 15 years. You feel as if you are stepping into a chic Manhattan eatery, where the staff is top-notch, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. Bill's entrees are priced very competitively and are always prepared with the freshest ingredients--- and the bar offers some innovative drinks and a great wine selection. (You have to try their famous Mojito!!)



On my last visit, I had the gorgonzola- pecan salad with beets, a grilled calamari salad, (featuring the most tender calamari I think I ever had), Grilled Scallops served on a bed of butternut squash ravioli (YUM!), and for dessert the Pistachio ice cream parfait.



You should make it a point to visit this gem, one of Nassau County's best-kept secrets.

The atmosphere is very warm and cozy - Very comfortable. The food is outstanding - I had the pan seared salmon and I have never had a meal so well done. Bravo - I am giving gift certificates for the holidays to family. Delightful staff and reasonable price.
