Minado Restaurant

love it go there once a month with friend!

My friends and I went there for lunch. During my second plate of food, I found a piece of metal in the rice. We spoke to the manager and he took the piece of metal and went to the back of the restaurant. We decided to wait for him to come back and talk to us but never did. Utterly disgusted, we didn't want to eat anymore and decided to leave. We left the waitress a tip because it wasn't her fault for the poor service. However, as we were leaving she yelled at us and told us that we needed to pay for the bill. We went back in and the manager told us he would only compensate us for only one meal. His reasoning, "Only one of you found metal in your food." We told him we were disgusted and didn't deserve to pay the rest of the bill. Also, the waitress we went out of our way to tip decided to yell at us some more in the restaurant. In total, the manager and that waitress do not know how to do their job. The service is just HORRIBLE.

I have to say this is probably one of the best buffets I have been to. The price is excellent for the choices, the food is rotated regularly, the staff is always pleasant AND they have a crepe station and a hibachi station. I like the fact that you can get your soups, hibachi and sushi according to what you ask for. Sometimes it takes a few minutes but that is expected when you see that they are constantly working behind the counter. I have only had to wait for a table once and that was for a short period of time, usually there is no wait at all because the restaurant is so big. They are also easily able to accomodate you if you come in with a large party without notice. I have been to Minado dozens of times and will keep coming back.
