I got run down and out in two undergrad degrees in my lifetime. The ombudsman's office corrected the trouble the first time and, disgusted, I did not complain effectively the second time and later the Illinois Inspector General's office wrote to me saying that I had a good action against the university but I waited too long to write to them to have the U prosecuted. One has 2 years. Good grades and best behavior. I am a lifetime state resident and someone with a professor ancestor here and a graduate of their university high. In both instances they waited until the last moment - the last semester or year - after a lot of tuition had been paid , more than $5000.00 in the second instance. Milked by some horrid pros, real winners, the education somewhat retarded too to tell truth. Run up the bill and dump. Why? My family owns undeveloped acres near town. Apparently the intelligent folks who profit on this institution believe that their very rude and low craftiness will suffice.
