Plaza Tire Service

Under and poorly staffed. Took over 2 hours for just a tire rotation, brake check and oil change. I had even scheduled the appointment in advance.
They also Gave a ridiculous estimate for brake pads and rotors. Twice as much as other estimates. Customer service just okay.

They did take a few dollars off bill because it took so long. So they are trying.

Fast service, in an emergency they came through, straightforward advice. Didn't try to upsell me. They have won my service. Plus they like dogs. When tire flattened I had my dog. They let me have her in the waiting area. Gotta love that! Thanks Plaza.

They overcharged me and I caught it twice before they tried write out my invoice. One of the maintenance men tried to play it off like it was an accident, but he charged me for a tire under my protection plan and claimed the other tire was not purchased from Plaza Tire Service when it was. I had receipts for my purchase and it showed on their purchase history but he tried to claim it wasn’t from them but Walmart. Not much later I heard him and the other manager laughing about charging a older gentleman for services they didn’t do. Then they tried it with another woman, but covered their bases by playing it off as an accident too. She fell for it. As soon as she left, they talked about how they almost got her but has to let that extra money go. They tried to charge her for a more expensive tire that she didn’t get! Two more customers and the same thing. They were ripping people off and stealing their money; I overheard the whole thing. Needless to say, they lost a customer in me today. I will NEVER go to Carbondale Plaza Tire Service again. I’d rather drive out of my way to go to another one more trustworthy. I miss Kelly managing there but since the change in management, it’s become sketchy and unreliable.

The staff at Plaza tire always are very helpful and friendly. They are very informative about their products and they always do a great job.

These guys not only do excellent work, but they are also friendly and respectful. They give you honest, complete information about your vehicle and let you make the choice that works best for you and your budget. This location is the best Plaza Tire in Southern Illinois.

The :Plaza Tire staff at the E. Main St./Carbondale location promised to have my car ready (oil change, tire rotation/balance, and inflate all tires using nitrogen) by 2 PM. I came back at 2 PM and the car was ready and sitting out front of their business ready to go. They did a great job!
