I used to be a BJ's member until my membership lapsed last Jan. 2015. I received a one-day pass and presented it to a customer service staff named Lynn(?) after waiting in line since she is the only one attending. This lady refused to give me the coupons/booklet that gives customers discounts. She pretended to call a supervisor to settle the issue using the store paging "speaker". Surprisingly, she gave me the booklet on her own volition. I bet she just wanted to give me a hard time. I find it adsurd why this lady initially refused to give me the coupons when BJ's "One-day pass" charges at least 15% surcharge on such purchases. I am happy that I have maintained my Costco membership. They have better customer service, more product choices and professional staff members.
