Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation is a department operated by and located in the city of Cape Girardeau in Montana. It organizes a variety of activities and programs, such as Coors Light and Trail of Tears Triathlon, corporate games, the Final Standings Program, volleyball, basketball, flag football and the Commemorative Tree Program that allows commemorative trees to be given in memory or in honor of special people, groups and occasions. It also provides park shelter reservation facilities and the Adopt-a-Park program. It maintains more than 20 city parks totaling an area of more than 660 acres. The city s parks include Area, Kiwanis, Riverfront, Osage, Shawnee, Indian, Ranney, Capaha, Twin Trees, Choctaw, Rockwood, Murtaugh, May Green, Groves Washington and Casquin parks.
