Stone Ferris Lawn Care

Broke sprinklers and trimmed back bushes so far back in the dry season that they killed two of them. They hooked up to my house water supply without my permission to water "dead bushes" instead of using irrigation water supply. Cost me over an additional $50.00 on bill. Said they would replace sprinklers and did not. Refused to take responsibility for killing shrubbery. This is not the first time they killed shrubs or broke sprinklers, but it is the first time I requested replacement. Would not recommend this company. For the amount they charge (high end) it should be expected that they would take responsibility for any damage they cause.

In response to Kathy.Scott’s comments: In that you personally have never worked for this company, I assume that whatever information you have, has come through your husband. That is unfortunate because you have been so misinformed, it is sad. First of all your husband was NEVER FIRED, the first time he walked off the job because he was asked to work with our Field Supervisor. The second time he just walked off the job for no reason and he was only back at work THEN because Stone felt sorry for your family and rehired him. The youngest person working for the company is 20 years old, not 16 as you were led to believe. As far as being underpaid, your husband was paid in excess of three dollars more than minimum wage and all our crews get a store stop break, a lunch break and paid travel time. Your husband’s final check was at the office for him, but he said he was out of town and wanted someone else to pick it up for him. When no one showed up; as is our company policy, we mailed it. As far as Stone’s religion, he never pushes it on anyone. He does however offer to pray with anyone who is in need. If anyone is a terrible man, it would appear to be your husband for misleading you as to the true facts. We will continue to pray for you and your family.

I called and they wouldn't give me pricing for just regular lawn service over the phone, the lady was sort of rude - then she told me they couldn't help me because I was renting the house we live in! Poor customer service. Oh yeah and they only have contracts. Who even does that anymore?

Anybody that has something negative to say about this company is a liar. Stone is a God fearing man. If people dont like the work then they need to quit. He is more than fair and helps anyone that needs help. Enough said!

This is a terrible company to work for... im not against religion at all. but the owner stone smothers you in his religion. All other the laborers are not english speaking at all. he has 16 year olds working 40+ hours a week. over worked and underpaid.... NO LUNCH BREAKS... and the only break u get is one 20 min break between 7 am and 5 pm... terrible... i rate a 0... he fired my husband over 2 grape fruits... then it took two weeks to get his last pay check... this is a terrible company and the owner is a terrible man
