Great School

I love the teachers at this school and the education my child received last year and will receive this year! My son was in the young fives program last year and the curriculum was at or above the public school?s curriculum. The fees are also reasonably priced and were the best in the area compared to other education-based preschools. There is also a small student-teacher ratio, which is great for helping young children. In the same aspect, the small class sizes can be a negative when making a transition to a larger public school setting. Overall this is a wonderful school and I would recommend it to anyone.

This was NOT a good school. It used to be, you can check out the back and forth on greatschools website.

Here are the facts, the preschool program was awful. They lost half the kids within the first month and the board refused to address any of the the parents' concerns. Throughout the year, there were MANY issues, ranging from the appropriateness of the teaching, to a child allergic to peanuts being fed them TWICE!

The kids never went to the gym and seldom went outside even when the weather was nice.

The class lacked a lot of warm fuzzies you'd expect. The teacher was a nice, Christian lady who loved the kids and my child loved her, however she had not taught preschool in a number of years. The school board refused to hear the concerns of the parents and help her or the parents deal with the problems.

People went to the board, I had a board member say ""I don't want to hear it."" They scapegoated on the one good teacher in the classroom when she had enough and left.

I was there EVERYDAY....I volunteered often and spied EVERYDAY. There are better programs, and it wasn't just preschool. They've lost longterm families from EVERY GRADE. I blame the board. They mismanaged this school and still don't take responsibility. They show the parents ZERO respect. Plymouth Canton is an awesome school district, why pay for a substandard school?

For preschool, there are several programs much better for a lot less money.
