Took my daughter here for her first haircut in November 2016. The woman who cut her hair was very accommodating for her wiggly butt (it possibly helped that we were the first appointment of the day, and the place was empty). But everything went smoothly! My only issue was that her bangs ended up being a wee bit too short for my tastes, but I couldn't see her cutting them because by that point, I was holding my daughter to keep her calm. And even then, it wasn't really that big of a deal because 1) she was only just over a year old, and no one was going to give her guff over a not perfect haircut. And 2) because hair grows back. Granted, her hair grows like mine (super slow), so we are just now getting to the point where she needs to go back for a bang trim. I can't wait to take her back here! She LOVED the slide they had (she climbed up there herself, but had my husband push her down). And she was crazy excited over the balloon on a stick they gave her. She played with that thing for DAYS until it finally deflated. If you're looking to take your kid somewhere that specializes in kids, and has something more than just a small table off to the side where kids can color (like only some salons have), you should go here. I can't really say if the haircuts are the greatest quality (since we've only been there once, and it was for a first haircut and nothing fancy), but the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff was well worth the trip (we live downriver and drove out to this location specifically for her haircut).
Abuse of their own policy to refuse to refund. They were hostile and mean after making my hair look horrible. Uncooperative to fix it. Mean and nasty and refused to refund. Brought pic of simple basic style - stylist didn't come close - tried again - still didn't match and looked like a home job by a kid. Stylist seemed offended and defensive. Owner was worse. No denying it didn't look right. Uncooperative as far as repair and then everyone was rude and the atmosphere was intimidating and uncomfortable. It is not uncommon to not be satisfied with a style nor even a stylist maybe not able to do a style. I tip well and understand how it goes with hair. I didn't expect such horrible treatment especially when you can see it doesn't look right. He is even disputing it to my credit card when the complaint is how horrible he treated me, the customer. Not satisfied and he is flaunting not giving a refund and is even trying to say he did things to resolve it - things he didn't do. If he did there would be no dispute. Sadly my experience was very costly. I had to pay a second salon to fix it and now battle for a refund. He does not care if I am satisfied now that he got my money. No denying the hair looks nothing like the pic. Wish I could upload (maybe can find a way.
Very Rude and sarcastic manager. Paying customers should not be treated this way. This is not the first time she has behaved in this manner. Will not be returning!!!!!
I went in and had 13" of hair cut off for locks of love. They did a great job. It was quick, and FREE. They also sent it in for me. Overall it was a great experience!
