I will never go back! I am in the fitness industry and this place is ridiculous. They are only out for your money and they refuse to work with you!! I went in with a free pass and signed up for a month membership afterwards, then after I filled everything out, they told me I had to pay another $20 for the heart rate monitor band. I finished my first month, then I was charged again for the next month. I called to cancel because I didn't know they were going to automatically charge me, and they refused to cancel my account unless I went in there. Well I was going on vacation then moving, so I wasn't able to go in, so when I called back they told me they needed a 30 day cancellation notice! That is unheard of for a fitness class! So now they are charging me for a third month, when I didn't even go the second month that they charged me! So basically I was charged 3 months, plus $20 for the hart rate monitor band, when I only attended 4 classes!!! And they refuse to work with me and say there is no other contact for me to speak with about this issue!STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
please go somewhere else and maybe pay more for a place that will actually care about your health and fitness. Stay away or you will regret it
Best Anytime Fitness I have visited!! Top of the line "new" exercise machines; sparkling clean and inviting facility; inspiring atmosphere with sharp, professional manager, Rachel, who authentically cares about the well being of each member; an exceptional owner, who also cares about his members and creating the most beneficial exercise environment - 2nd to non; and members who are considerate of each other, whether in cardio area or weight/strength area. Awesome experience each time I work out, with no regrets!!!
Love this gym.. They have everything you need and employ very nice trainers who know their stuff
Avoid this place if you can. Staff is rude and unhelpful. The manager is an obese 20 year old (not the best idea Fitness 19 owner, putting a fat and cocky teenager in charge of your gym) who is clearly in over his head; I exercised there for about two months and have spoken to several current and former members who already or are about to switch gyms for his refusal to get new equipment or to update broken equipment. Do you really want to work out at a place where everyone has to wipe up their sweat with the sweaty rags that other members just used to wipe off their own sweat?
Im surprised to read these other reviews. I can't even picture any of the stafg acting the ways described! I have been a member there since it opened and have always been very satisfied with my experiences. The staff is always very friendly. Cheerful greetings upon arrival and wishes for a great day upon departure is their mode of operating. The facilities are always kept clean and, amazingly, smelling fresh! I never have a problem getting on the machine I want. I took my son to another facility the other day for a tour, and was all the more appreciative of PF. It stank and the staff were unavailable to help. I'm staying put!
I love this place and the people that are there. I started going to the gym in February of this year (2014). I was obese at 270+ pounds. I needed a gym that was affordable and had day care (and DID NOT give their clients pizza and bagel like a place I will leave unnamed). This fit both. The ladies that care for the children are absolutely amazing with the kids! I hired a personal trainer for myself, but even on the days that I do not see him, the gym staff is always there to assist me with questions and new techniques to help boost my fitness. I have currently lost 106 lbs through hard work, dedication, and the continued and constant support of the staff and fellow gym members at Fitness 19.
I've always really liked Fitness 19. They have all of the equipment that I need, and the staff and trainers are all really nice and helpful. Kickboxing is the best!
Very professional certified fitness training/ classes. Better yet, it is at a affordable price.
Avoid this placeThe staff and management sucks here... I went for inquiry asked me to fill up an application. I told them if I am interested will come back and pay the fees. They started charging already and calling to say I have balance to pay. Explained that I never agreed to start the membership but they don’t accept that. I did not use the gym not even a day they kept calling me that I have balance and leaving message as they will go to collection agency. They don’t know what is customer service, how to make customer happy and get more referrals and bring their friends and families. I hope they will change their attitude and start learning business ethics. stay away from this place...
