Very frustrating post office with employees who seem to be very disorganized, not honest or forthcoming with information and uncooperative. Had a box that was shipped for my elderly mother (who only has a PO box for normal mail) and they refused to deliver it twice. The first time my sister went to the post office to pick it up since we saw by the tracking number that it had arrived. The guy working in the front told her it was out to be delivered, even though he never even stepped away to check. A couple of hours later it showed that the packaged was been shipped back to the sender because it was "undeliverable". I called and spoke to "Brian" twice about this and informed him the package was going to be shipped back to the post office. He took my number to call me. On Saturday morning (April 19th) the package arrived and a few hours later it was once again shipped back to the sender. ???? Once again it was tagged as "undeliverable". My mother lives on a road that is in their delivery routes, she has a mailbox with her house number in bold, white letters and yet they refuse to deliver. I spoke to the gentleman who was the sender of the box and he said the post office was very uncooperative with him, too, and this second time they received the box back it looked like it had been dropped from an airplane, and they would not be resending it, again- and I don't blame him!! This post office is the absolute worst and someone needs to go in and restaff it or train these people how to handle situations better. I will never send anything usps through Canton, Ga, again.
