Terrific co. They completely stand behind their work. Serve great coffee too. Mark explains the work to be done and the prices are fair. We are very lucky to have such good auto mechanics in Canon City.
ATTENTION AREA HUNTERS WITH P-U TRUCK PROBLEMS!
Owner Paul Austin of Austin Automotive Repair is all about service and expertise. We were there sheep hunting in September. My brother's Ford truck developed a oil leak in the rear end. Paul's Austin automotive repair was busy (1 week out), but he wanted us to keep our hunt going so he made time to get us in and out in 1-1/2 hours (as a bonus, with information from locals and himself on where to find the trophy sheep)!
A few days later the problem remerged, we went back to Austin' s, he pulled another vehicle out of a stall and moved ours in. After a quick look he discovered his mechanic had missed something (mistakes do happen- it is how they are handled that is important). This time he worked on the vehicle personally and had us in and out 1 hour (problem solved, a plugged pressure release hose). Paul was very apologetic about missing this and refused to take any further money for his work.
This is a business and an owner who is all about integrity and quality. Trust him to do a good job, at a fair rate, in a reasonable time frame. A very refreshing experience...
