I don't even want to give this place a star. What happened to Beryl Ann's in Recreation Drive? I used to go there quite a bit and I never had a problem. I walked in on a Friday afternoon, n9b9dy could really do what I wanted she to apts. coming in. Then appeared what should have been a professional experiences hair styles after staying she worked at Beryl Ann's back in the 70's and 80's. This stylist had wet ha8r because she had just rinsed color our of her hair. The shenanigans that went on there was so unprofessional. She did not even know how to put red highlights in my hair, it showed up spotted because she should have bleached my.dark brown hair first to take the red we'll. She offered to do it over the next day, really? It was 5:00 p.m. she had two more hours as the salon didn't close until 7:00 p.m. So inconvenience the customer for her mistake and make me drove 25 minutes back to the salon and back home again the next day. The color is the least of the problem. I wanted a layered bob, what I ended up with was totally awful it was a full mullet from the 80's short on the sides and long in the back and so very uneven. It seriously looked like a two year old cut my hair. I cried, I couldn't sleep and then I found a miracle worker that fixed me up, applied the color by bleaching it first, she had to touch up red circles in my hair with darkest brown hair color and she had to cut my hair short, I had just grown my hair out after months of struggling to grow out layers and get it one length. WARNING!!! Do not go to Beryl Ann's unless you like red polka dots and uneven razored cut hair.
Still waiting for my shot of Hudson Baby.
Don't go there if you are of any ethnicity... Been going there for a couple of years and now they want to say something about my hair. And very rude.

The prices are reasonable and the employee’s were very nice but there is a reason that a salon can take you with no appointment and that reason is that the employee's are inexperienced and have not built up a customer base. This could mean you get a really good cut or a really bad one. In my husbands case it was not good. He needed a cut last minute and decided to give this place a try, it didn't work out well for him. Bottom line is that you are rolling the dice when you go to a place that hires allot of new people with little experience.
I will start by saying I ask for a gift certificate for this salon for Christmas, mom's day, anniversary, pretty much any chance I get because I love the spa services. The Owner is excellent and really takes care of her customers. I love it so much I have treated my family and friends to services here. I have only ever used the spa services and have always walked out delighted. There was one time when my sister got a manicure and was not happy at all. She said that the woman was not experienced and the polish started chipping within 24 hours. I would highly recommend this salon but you may want to ask what type of experience the person has who will be providing the service you want.
I went to this salon because they offered a "workshop" on learning news ways to style your hair and how to do up do's on your own. I paid for the workshop and arrived on time. Immediately upon arriving I was bombarded with other services they could sell me that day. When I said I wasn’t interested the woman asked me what I wanted to learn. I told her I wanted to learn a few different ways I could put my hair up on my own for a dinner party. The woman spent ten minutes telling me how to use a blow dryer to brush my hair straight and then told me we were done. I tried to ask questions about how to put my hair up. Her response was that if I was going out and needed an up do they could schedule me an appointment. This “workshop” was really a way to get me to purchase other services which would have been fine if I had not paid to have them try to sell me other services. I didn’t get what I paid for and will not return.
