My brother-in-law who lives over 2 hours away, is a deputy sheriff and an officer in the Army, and JUST found out his wife has breast cancer, simply called the guy to ask about a truck he had in stock. When he asked if there was by chance any sort of military discount, the guy was super rude and basically hung up on him. My brother in law even called back to explain he would be driving a distance and paying cash, and the guys told him to "hit the road jack". Classy.

"DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH""THEY ARE EITHER DISHONEST OR EXTREMELY IGNORANT""I WILL GIVE A FREE CONSULTATION AND/OR HELP YOU FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO BUY"Let me begin with some background. I was a service advisor for Mercedes Benz for 10 years. I recently had an accident and totaled my Benz. I was forced to find a new vehicle fast. Shame on me for not being more thorough, but in all my years in the auto industry I have never seen a company sell such a dishonest line and temporarily repaired vehicle. I say temporary, because on my test drive everything felt, looked, and sounded good. Two weeks later,1) check engine light is on, 2) running very rough, dies at time from running so rough,3) the transmission is slipping,4) the exhaust had filler in a hole that is now as loud as a monster truck5) sunroof is not operation ( I was told that upfront)6) heavy clunk has developed in the engine7) battery keeps going dead8) covers for headlight bulbs missing9) serpentine destroyed (had to replace)plus more.....DO NOT do business with this company, they are either dishonest or extremely ignorant. There is no alternative answer. I have called them with no response as the vehicle was conveniently sold "as is". I will even give you free consultation and/or help you find a vehicle from some where more honest and respectable than this sad excuse for an automotive dealer, Buyers Beware!
WALK AWAY - Sales talk, which isn't legally binding, but can easily be relied on. Less then 4 hours and 100 miles of "AS IS" ownership, the engine blows. "AS IS", no understanding, no help "AS IS" is all that mattered to Sands Auto Sales. Never did offer me a service contract until after the fact -- DON'T GO and if you do WALK AWAY.
Do not buy from these guys. They told us that if the car we bought had any issues they would "make it right" with us. Well, the car has $1300 worth of issues and they won't return our calls. "Big Dan" says the owner is too busy. A handshake from these guys is meaningless. Go elsewhere to buy.
