I have been seeing Dr. Schena for osteoarthritis in both knees and hip pain for approximately 4 years. I have had surgery in both knees. The outcome both times was excellent. I continue to see him for Cortisone and Synvisc injections in order to keep my knees stable and to alleviate me from a lot of pain. I have been immobile several times and Dr. Schena has brought my knees back life. Right now I am a candidate for a total knee replacement and know it's only a matter of time it can be put off. I like the fact that he doesn't push the idea of surgery. He understands from a patient's view what a big deal it is. After a second opinion in Boston he was highly praised. Without hesitation, Dr. Schena would be the surgeon I would choose. Highly recommend!
