The service was very bad. I went in with my young daughters and the girl who did their nails played on her phone and iPad most of the time. Someone else had to put them under the dryer and my husband had to check on their nails while I got mine done. My nail cracked the night I got them done and the polish chipped. I must say though that the guy who did my nails was friendly and he was the only nice one in there. Also, the atmosphere, to me, was "blah".

I have now lived in St. Mary's County for almost two years and have tried a few places including Regal Nails and have not been satisfied until now. I have officially found the nail tech that does EXACTLY what I want. Henry is his name!!! He is an amazing designer. I love bright crazy colors and designs and he does just that!!!! Also, I have two young daughters who love to get their nails done in cute little designs and I would suggest a man name Sunny's daughter. She is great!!!!!!
So, like another reviewer, I am new to the area. The Regal Nails where I'm from is fantastic..so, I figured..why not? I had a stressful day at work, I already had to go to Walmart, and they weren't busy...now I know WHY. There is so much to say. Upon entering, the nail techs were literally lounging on the chairs, on their phones, and totally disinterested in serving customers. So, I walked in and asked if they did shellac. They did--wonderful! They proceeded to ask me if I wanted a pedicure--why not? I had a rough day. So here it goes...While removing my ingrown toe-nails (gross, I know), the nail tech made me bleed on both toes...so bad that I literally thought I was in the ER for a moment. Another tech had to take over because the blood wouldn't stop. It's been 4 days and I have cuts along my big toe and they smeared the nail polish so it doesn't even look good--something I didn't notice until the polish fully dried. I am not kidding at how bad this was. The tech mutilated my foot and if I could post a picture I would. Not to mention, this person took off their gloves MULTIPLE times and dropped tools on the floor and proceeded to use them again. So, I brushed it off in the moment until I went to get shellac. The tech started clipping the skin on TOP of my finger and almost made me bleed...on every.single.finger. If you can imagine, this wasn't even a relaxing experience for me and I am STILL sore..especially when I go to take a shower and can feel the burn of my raw skin. While she was buffing, the tech made me bleed on my pinky finger from being so abrasive. I guess I should have acted a little more upset because I STILL got charged $50 for this pathetic service. For the love of God and all things holy...DO NOT GO HERE. Now I know why they weren't busy.
I had a terrible time at this nail salon. I have never been to a Regal Nails before but I decided to try it out since it was convenient. It was awful.I had no time to choose my color, they rushed me into one chair and then another... The man who did my nails was rude to me and sighed/said something under his breath when I was having trouble keeping my hands relaxed. It was not clean, no one wore gloves, there were fingernail clippings from a previous client on the towel that I had my hands over. I wouldn't be so upset about it if they were able to do a good job or if they were kinder to me but my nails look BAD! They polish brands they have there are cheap and come out translucent and streaky. The man doing my nails cut my thumb at some point in the manicure and kept pushing on that spot with his thumb nail to, I don't know, get rid of the acrylic that overlapped onto my skin. I tried not to say anything but it hurt so bad that I jumped! That's when he got aggravated and sighed under his breath. He seemed annoyed the whole time. When he was finished buffing my nails he set his equipment down and expected me to know what to do. He looked at me and said "Go wash your hands." When he finished painting my nails he didn't even have me stay to let them dry. He just said in a flat tone, "Okay, you're done. Very gorgeous" and walked off. He had me pay before he painted the nails...I will never go back to this salon if I can help it and I wish I could have my money and tip back. Now my thumb hurts, my hands are itchy and my nails don't even look good! I just touched them up here at home.
This place was horrible!!!! I have gone to regal nails many times in the past, of course, at a different location. I am new to the area and decided to give it a try. Once in, things seemed ok. I was told to sit in one of the pedicure chairs and when I pulled the arm rest down, it was dirty. I mean nasty dirty! I stayed though. Bad idea! While sitting there getting my toes done, a mouse, yes mouse, ran acrosss the floor. I saw this and so did the people working there. I asked them what it was and they just laughed it off saying, oh its because of Walmart. I should have left however, I did not. While walking to the chair to get my manicure I noticed the dirty floor. Ugh!! There was dried up coffee and dirt everywhere! The girl proceeded with my mani all while speaking to one of her cowokers the WHOLE time. It was such an awful experience that after I left I called them back and complained . Of course, the assistant manger swore to me that they clean every morning. I was there right when they opened and there was NO cleaning going on. They were to busy chatting and using their electronics. I, now wonder if the instruments they used on me were even clean! I would NOT recommend this place to my enemy! I have also called to file a complaint with the corporation. Like the other lady said, isn't there anyone who checks up on these places.
