Very nice place. Beautiful surroundings. Staff was very pleasant, but somewhat disorganized. We had three different wait persons and they seemed not to know what was going on. But the good food and great atmosphere made up for it.

Very disappointing and NOT up to par with other Calabasas dining venues. Last time we were there, had to wait over one hour for food to arrive; when it arrived, it was cold and mediocre. The waitress nor manager couldn't care less. Won't go back to the Calabasas branch; other Marmalade's seem better.

Try the Blackened Chicken Pasta at Marmalade Cafe

I ordered take out from a really nice bartender at Marmalade Cafe who remembered my huge order without writing it down. We got French Onion Soup, Bruschetta, Caesar salad, Santa Fe Skirt Steak (which came with really tasty fries) and Blackened Chicken Pasta. The pasta was very good and the blackened chicken was to die for! No wonder the bartender girl advised me that it is the best thing on the menu! The only thing I wasn't crazy about is the French Onion because the bread tasted stale or maybe even moldy.

Great ""anytime, anything"" restaurant.

Marmalade Cafe is the type of place you go when you want nice American food in a homey setting. I've never been disappointed here. There is nothing particularly special about the place, but it's always a safe bet. I've heard they have great brunch, though I've never had it before. It's a really cute restaurant that I doubt I'd ever turn down.

Used to be so good, what happened. Food has gotten average at most. Service always slow. Don't go in after a movie lets out. Noisy.
