Hopes & Dreams Adult Daycare

My sister was a client for a couple of years. They had a big staff change due to their full time resident not being able to get along with staff. The last night my sister was a client, when my husband went to pick her up this resident had her trapped in a bathroom, threatened her life, and hit her while the single staff was working with the third client present. When approached, the owner stated that this full time resident is the income for the facility and the other, respite recipients, were the "icing on the cake". She stated that she is aware of this clients violent tendencies and he had been asked to leave other facilities due to this bullying. Needless to say, my sister never went back. It is not a safe respite facility until their full time client is no longer there.
