I have a rescue Bichon Frise that I take to Shampoochies, and a standard poodle who will start going there next week. The Bichon is generally very timid and does not leave my side, but she is happy to go to Shampoochies. When I pick her up she is always happy and beautifully groomed. I have owned dogs for over 40 years and have experienced many groomers , and I believe that my dogs are happiest at Shampoochies.

I was a bit disapointed on my last visit there after picking up my dog. I brought him in very clean. brushed smelling fresh, and when I picked him up, though only there 2 nights, his whole backside/bottom, tail was sticky and smelled from strong urine, as if his kennel was never cleaned and he was left in there to sit, sleep in that mess.. In over 30 years of boarding my pets anywhere, I've never come across this. I've left my pets at other places for over a week, and they come back smelling as fresh as I brought them in.Yes, it was the Christmas holiday, and they were extra busy, but thats no reason NOT to clean up their kennels, crates, where ever they put my little guy.Hire extra help, or don't take in extra dogs. I was very disappointed, as I've never come across this anywhere else. we are new to the area.
