My mom was sent to this facility after having a stroke. She was not able to vocalize or communicate with anyone very well due to the stroke. Several times during visitation, my family noticed she was not cleaned up because of not having control of her bodily functions-Urine and feces. The CNA's were asked several times and family members were told that they did not have the staff to assist. One time after a dr apt, my mom was in severe pain ...she had been in the chair at 10 to depart for the dr and after arriving back at 2, kept trying to say wanted back in bed. Husband asked and was advised could not because did not have enough staff at the moment. Husband had to leave and daughter came in. She also asked and was told same thing. Husband came back at 7 and Mom was still in the chair crying and in lots of devastating pain. Husband asked again and said he had to leave because he could not drive in the dark but demanded that Mom be cleaned up and put to bed because by this time and being in the chair since 10 that morning, she was a complete mess and had not had assistance in taking her to rest room.I, another daughter called and spoke to who was in charge. It was nurse, and she lied saying none of that happened. Mom had been complaining for week and crying trying to tell us what was going on. The roommate in the room stated that Mom was treated poorly and wnen crying for pain was told to shut up. I got my mom out of there and spoke to administrator and she seemed shocked even though conversations occurred about the situation. She said her CNAs were not smart enough to even know how to lie about stuff and that room mate was a trouble maker. Please do not put your parent or family member in this place. It was horrible.
