Molis Dental

After paying nearly $400 for dental work up front plus my insurance coverage I have found out years later that I've been sent to collections. I was told that they only provide estimates for work, and what I paid up front was not towards an actual quote for work. Pretty standard stuff done, just cavities, which is questionable anyway as I'd never had a cavity until I saw him. Another dentist commented that Dr. Molis may be a bit more aggressive in cavity treatment, and did more work than was necessary. So now I've got a collection agency on my credit report, and Molis dental refuses to take payment for the balance due. I would stay away.

Our experience with Molis Dental has been an extremely positive one. My parents were introduced to Molis Dental years ago and now my family of four goes there. We make the 25 minute trip to see Dr. Ryan Molis and his team. They welcome us with open arms and we're very happy to be patients of his. My husband and I have two young children that used to have anxiety going to the dentist and the team at the Burr Ridge office put my kids fears at ease. Since Dr. Molis has young children of his own, he knows how to address their fears of going to the dentist and get the job done within the window of time he has to work with them. He is very current and up to date with dental trends. I feel very comfortable knowing that he has the knowledge and the tools to keep my family's mouths healthy. His staff is very professional and always friendly. I actually look forward to catching up with my dental hygienist every 6 months. If you were to ask me to where to go for professional, caring, and efficient dental care, I'd tell you Molis Dental.

It had been over 7 years since I set foot into a dental office. I do not fear needles or pain very much but when its takes place in my mouth it causes me extreme anxiety. I was a thumb sucker and when I was little my mom actually worked for a dentist as an assistant. He was not good with kids at all very mean rude and since I was an employee’s kid he just didn’t care. One time he literally had 2 assistants hold me down while he was trying to fill a cavity because it was my first and I was terrified and I was no older than 7. He also convinced my mother to get a thumb crib put into my mouth. If you don’t know it’s a orthodontic device that is supposed to stop thumb sucking but it didn’t for me. It got pushed into the roof of my mouth and caused a bunch of problems and ended up being very painful and in the end I had to have surgery to remove it. The reason I decided to even go to the dentist is because I hated my smile. I had braces on when I was 17 and off by 18…the problem is that I was a thumb sucker Up until 4 months ago. I am currently 24. Say what you will, I don’t care. Anyway, the thumb sucking caused an over jet and open bite and other various problems. So I found Molis dental off the Invisalign web site. And honestly I was so uninterested with going to a dentist I just picked one that was closest. I figured I would hate it all the same. When I went in for my free consultation Dr. Ryan Molis was very informative. I asked 5,000 questions and was nervous…so I am probably not the ideal patient. I also am fresh out of college and have loans and a car payment. Dr. Molis was very understanding and willing to work with payment options. Which, I cannot even express what a relief that is. It is nice knowing you can get the help you need now even if you cannot pay for everything at once. Honestly, as stupid as it sounds, that was a main reason I would avoid the dentist aside from the anxiety. I did not want to go in there and have them tell me I absolutely needed a procedure and had no way to afford it. I was Kind of sticking my head in the sand which is not good. Anyway, I became a new patient after I signed up for my Invisalign…needless to say after 7 years of not going to the dentist I had 8 cavities and one that was so bad it required a root canal. Just the idea of a root canal got me so emotionally terrified that I was literally crying and shaking in the dental chair. It was a long process but he was very understanding and kind to me. I cannot even imagine how hard it would be to be a dentist and then have to do with emotional outburst for seemingly easy and routine procedures. Dr. Molis is currently helping me with invisalign and to fill all my cavities so my teeth can be healthy again. The thought that I may actually enjoy my smile again makes me so happy and excited. The staff and Dr. are very professional and down to earth I highly recommend them to anyone but ESPECIALY if you fear the dentist or it gives you anxiety. They are wonderful.

I went to Molis Dental for a regular check-up, walked in as a new patient and first thing I was impressed with was how warm felt and beautiful the office was. The front desk staff was very welcomming to me, Not only did they treat me with warm grettings they also offered me to a bottled water or a cup of coffee. I did not have to wait long before I was taken back to meet Dr. Ryan Molis. A young well educated dentist. Dr. Ryan explained what was going on with my teeth in a way I could understand. I felt very comfortable in his chair. Dr. Ryan did do some work on my teeth that day and he did it in a timely manor I was in and out before I even expected too! Dr. Ryan's work is amazing! I will continue to come back to his office, He and His staff and top knotch! I Highly recommand Molis Dental.

My husband went to see Dr. Ryan Molis at Molis Dental for a terrible tooth ache. From the minute we stepped in the door, the staff was warm and caring and helped my husband and I feel extremely at ease. Dr. Ryan was terrific; he explained everything, step by step, to my husband and me. My husband's tooth ache was taken care of that day, and now I take my whole family to Molis Dental!

The staff at Molis Dental are sooo sweet. Not only do the girls offer me coffee but they give me a warm greeeting when I walk in and I feel like family their. The dentists are honest and professional. What more could a woman ask for?

Ever since my first visit at the office, I have been treated with nothing but respect. The staff is just wonderful. They are very friendly and cater to your needs. Dr. Ryan is my doctor and he is an excellent one. He is very friendly and professional and I have recommended his services to many people.

I am patient of Dr. Ryan Molis, started the invisalign treatment about 10 months ago, I now question the competency of Dr. Ryan Molis & Molis Dental, more specifically Dr. Ryan Molis. Yes, it's a ok place to visit, but I have had to go to other Invisalign dentist due to his poor - if not inaccurate treatment plan & diagnosis. I feel he is more concerned with money than correcting my smile and teeth with invisalign. I'm on this site because I'm looking for another invisalign dentist other than Dr. Ryan. If you have any recommendations of other Orthodontists who expertise in Invisalign and can take up the patients who have already started the treatment with another dentist, please post your reply to this review.
