Burnet High School offers a variety of educational and recreational programs for students in grades 9 through 12. The school s core curriculum includes English, math, social science and history. It also organizes sessions in music, art and health education. Burnet High School provides a range of sports activities, including baseball, basketball, softball, swimming, tennis, football, golf and cross-country. The school offers higher education and career counseling services. It provides classes in agriculture, home economics, and family and consumer science. Burnet High School operates a parent-teacher association and offers membership options for the National Honor Society. In addition, it the school provides Title I and before- and after-school programs. Burnet High School offers special education programs for students with developmental disabilities. The school is governed by the Burnet Consolidated Independent School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
