Wanted to give my love the ring of her dreams and was promised a price I could afford by Tick Tock. After putting down my payment they tried to triple what I paid to do the ring we agreed on. This was frustrating after doing our research and getting quotes from other jewelry stores saying that the original price agreed upon was more than fair and tripling it would be insane. Because of the obvious signs all over the store "no returns or refunds" we were at a loss. After making 7 total trips traveling over an hour each time, and dealing with 3 different people at tick tock, we partially got what we wanted. They sent us home with a ring that doesn't fit the description of how we wanted it customized, and it is too big to the point where it falls off. We had a deal and they didn't hold up their end. Although they did offer to make it right if we paid yet more money. I expressed all of my hurt to them and the reply I got was "we wouldn't be in business so long if we were screwing people", but yes they are in business because getting engaged is a one time deal, they can screw everyone once then onto the next poor sucker. All in all I was taken advantage of and this is not an experience I wish for any couples to have to go through.
Rebecca Lemire quit she was not terminated. The overbearing owner needs to stay on her meds. Slander does not look well on the current employees either.
I went in with my wife who loves this store and left with a pair of Tom Ford sunglasses for myself! They are are always friendly and helpful to my wife and daughters. Well done!
Knowledgeable and kind! always helpful and they get stuff done quickly. i also love the complimentary ring cleaning!
The staff at Mirror Mirror has always been kind and helpful to me. I'm not the most confident with my makeup and they are always willing to teach me how to use the products I purchase so I know what I'm doing when I get home. Not only that but with so many different brands they were able to recommend the right products that worked for my aging skin. It was like going to a department store and being sold on just one line. They really made sure each product was the best for my skin.
My husband and I celebrated our 25 wedding anniversary and we went to perrywinkles... Jenn was wonderful helping us create my dream ring, she went above and beyond to give us exactly what we were looking for. This ring I will cherish forever as it is my forever ring. Thanks so much,Bonnie C
I got my nose piercing done here a few months back and it went really well, the people were informative and friendly and seemed very professional and knew what they were doing. They walked you through the process without dragging it on too long and the prices are also fairly straight forward. I'm going back to get another piercing done here tomorrow and am super excited about it!
I always liked the folks at Tick Tock. I bought an antique ring there for my girlfriend with a moonstone and diamonds that she loved. I also bought new watch bands for my Tag Heuer there twice. The second time, though, didn't go well. When I picked up the watch, I noticed condensation on the inside of the crystal and the stopwatch feature was no longer working. They were adamant that all they had done was replace the band. I just got an estimate from a jeweler here in Milwaukee who says it will cost $480 to repair my watch. I don't know what happened at Tick Tock, but I do know the watch seemed fine when I dropped it off and was far from fine when I picked it up.
We visited the store last week end when we were in Burlington and, as always, the employees were absolutely wonderful. We live in Connecticut but bring all of our jewelry to this fabulous store. The people are always so helpful and we appreciate the personal touch! Thank you!!
They answered the phone at 7:15 pm. At 7:55, I was out of Daily Rider with a what i wanted. Total time and money expenditure: 40 m & 20 bucks- including my travel time to the shop.
