I created an account just to warn fellow customers NOT TO GO TO THIS PLACE.
The people that work there have RIP OFF written all over them. They are not in the business of shipping they are in the business of screwing you over however way they can. When asked for pricing the filthy snake of representative was trying to find every possible way to charge me more as if I had never shipped something and I didn't know better. I will never go back to this store for any reason, my experience was so bad that as a matter of fact I might never even go back to ANY UPS store and will pick their competitors. Somebody put an end to this hell branch.

The woman who claims to be the owner IS rude just like the other commentors below. I usually just drop in to drop off a package that is prepaid. All they have to do is look at the package and make sure there is a vaild UPS label on it and I am on my way. One day, there was a line, people behind me and one woman in fornt of me. The woman behind the counter was taking her time and didnt acknoweldge anyone waiting. I excused myself and asked if I could leave my prepaid package on the counter. She snarled at me and instructed me to wait my turn. I explained that it was prepaid and that Id be on my way AND that she should show customers some consideration and respect (as she was harrassing the woman she was helping over fees charged). At that point she told me to leave. I told her that I was leaving my package there and that if anything happened to it Id be back to escalate the matter. As I walked out, she threw my box off the counter!!! How is this monster still in business???

This vile, rude, unprofessional woman needs to be trained in the basics of customer service. I have reported her to the Better Business Bureau and UPS.
Six months pregnant, all I wanted to do is to send a box of baby clothes to my home in California.
I walked in to the UPS store with my department store bag, explaining that I would like to ship it to CA. I filled out the UPS slip. The woman who manages the store told me I had to pay $18 extra for packing ""services"". When I questioned this amount and explained there was nothing breakable, just baby clothes, she screamed at me and asked why should she do work for free?
I explained that I was happy to put a box together myself. She told me that I should be grateful she was allowing me to do so as this was ""not allowed""..
I put the box together. After asking her for a piece of tape to seal the box, she told me that I ""could not get anything for free"" and that I was a ""bad customer"" who needs to ""get the f*ck"" out of her store"".
This was after she GRABBED my credit card out of my hands, and swiped it through the machine, hitting ""enter"" twice to make the transaction go through.
AVOID!!!!! Lets put this monster out of business.

Worst experiences I ever had from any of courier services. When I entered the store, the guy at counter was litterally fighting with another customer over phone. Don't know what was going and I did not care about that anyway. Well, next was my turn! I'd a pre-paid package to be returned to online retailer. I'd to put a return authorization in the package and had to seal the package. I requested for a sealing tape and this guy threw me a $1.50 cost for it! When asked why I'm being charged for a small tape, the guy told me that it costs $80 for tape and he can't offer it. No other courier service had told me this ""cost factor"" ever whenever I used their packing tape occassionally. Well, I wouldn't mind paying $1.50 but the way this guy behaved and talked was absolutely rude. When I asked if UPS has stopped providing tapes if customers request, his answer was his shop is independent of UPS.
UPS must take a note of such franchise which may disrupt their reputation and will also impact their business in this area.
I'm never going to use this UPS service again.

I had the unfortunate experience of trying to do business with this store. On entering, the woman behind the counter was somewhat high strung, took the item I was going to send and while shaking it, asked if it was fragile. When I explained what it was, she quoted me an extremely high price to 'pack and ship' the item quoting 'parts and labor'. I asked if she were serious and she became incensed. I told her that I did not care for her attitude and she completely flew off the handle. I asked for her manager and she stated that she was the owner, Charlane King. I asked for her business card and she threw it at me. If she is the example for her employees to follow, then this store will surely soon be out of business. She is a poor representative of the UPS system and people should NOT patronize this store. In tough financial times, service and value should be paramount and are clearly not a priority at this store. If I could give the store a negative star rating, I would. Although this store is less than a mile from my workplace, I drove an additional 7 miles to a more friendly and professional location.

I live in the Midwest and I was going to bid on an item on ebay. The seller only provides a Local Pickup Option, but it is a good deal. So, I found this UPS store (independently operated) online and see if they would take the item from the seller and ship it to me. They were rude and could not comprehend instructions over the phone. I asked them for a quote over the phone and they said they can't do it because it is near ""Christmas"" (I called on 12/8/07 - Saturday) and they have a long line waiting. I called FedEx Kinko down the street 781-229-8080. They were a lot more helpful than this one was.

I've been forced to use this stores services a couple of times because I work nearby and have the need to send things out overnight or use their notary on occasion. The bottom line is they are very unprofessional (sometimes rude) and their prices are consistently higher than alternatives. For the EXACT same service of priority mail that the US Post Office offers, they charge almost TWICE as much. Just for the convenience of having them take it.
Now I drive an extra couple miles to go to the USPS or use the FedEx Kinkos down the street. DO NOT USE this store!
