I applied not knowing what I was getting into. But once I started, I got something more than I expected. I learned how to be a leader. When they told me they were going to make me a boss, I was a little skeptical, maybe even jaded. I mean, in all the jobs I’ve had (there’s a lot, I’m not gonna lie) the boss just barked out orders, making everyone miserable.



But there’s a difference between being a leader and being a boss. I learned that being a leader is not about what you do for yourself, it’s about what they can teach others to do. It’s about passing it on, the knowledge, the opportunity, all of it. I also learned that being a good leader means having patience, giving yourself time to grow. To be a good leader, I had to be a good follower. The branch managers don’t give orders just because. They’re successful for a reason, and they also went through the training program, like everyone else. They are the leaders I’m working to become.

I went to school for business and accounting; always knowing I was going to be a business owner one day, although I wasn’t sure what type of business that would be. This business gives me the opportunity to be a branch manager without the financial risks. It has given me a paved path to success, all I have to do is follow.



This has changed my life in so many ways. I am much stronger and more independent. I’ve gained a new family of people who really care about me and my success, in the company and in life. I’ve also learned how to face any problem or situation that may arise and deal with it objectively.



If you’re looking to change you situation for the better, this is it. You only have to be certain of your need for that change. It’s a lot of hard work-mentally. But isn’t life mentally hard anyway? You’ll have to make some sacrifices, but in the end it’s worth it. Wouldn’t you make sacrifices now for financial freedom in the future?
