Grandma Mary's Daycare Center Inc

I have to say that I believe my children receive great care here at Grandma Mary's. My kids love the staff there and they're always excited to go back. The reason I only gave 3 stars is that they have also caused me much frustration in the past few years I've taken them there. I have 2 sons close in age, and I've been taking them there since they were infants.



Mistaking my sons eating schedule, feeding him a bottle every 2 hours instead of every 4 (which is a big deal with an infant, especially when they're sent home to fuss because they want fed every 2 hours). Me bringing in loads of diapers, and then my kids being sent home with the wrong diapers on. In less than a week they tell me they're out of diapers and need more, and I have to wonder... who's wearing the diapers that I brought in??? I have told every staff member and the owner more than once that my son needs a pull up on for a nap- or he'll soak his clothes. At least once or twice a week he's sent home with a bag of soaked clothes because somebody forgot to put a pull up on him. And also sending my son home with a "fever" that wasn't even a true fever, and I had to take him to the pediatrician just for them to look at me like I was nuts. Some of the staff members there are young and don't realize that taking a baby's temperature right after they wake up doesn't give a true reading because they can run a little warmer. That's just a few of the inconsistancies I've come across, but it just seems like organization lacks at times, and like I said, it has caused me much frustration.



On a positive note, I don't ever fear that my kids are being neglected or abused. I know it's hard with so many kids with organization and that some things can get forgotten- but that's what I pay them for. Even though they're fairly priced, I still don't consider it cheap.

I am beyond happy with Grandma Mary's. My 4 & 5 yr old have plenty of supervision & activities, & often want to stay when I pick them up. They have gone out of their way to be helpful to me & other families as well as being organized, clean and reasonably priced. I love them! I am also one of those overly protecteive moms & I do feel that my kids are safe & well taken care of there.
