I took this class in February and to my surprise I arrived an hour late due to the time that was given to me when I signed up. I knew that I was right because another lady was there with me and she too was late and told the same incorrect information as me. I was really upset and found that I was rushed through the entire process as "catch up". Everything was done for me, the gal that was at my table did all the mixing and pouring. I spent my time watching and then writing down the ingredients so that I can try and make them at home. I decorated about 6 cupcakes and the student that worked with me at my table was the one that showed my how to do it. What you have advertised on your website is nothing what the class is about. After a while when your instructors seen how upset and frustarated I was is then when they seem to explain a bit more. Your intructors were too busy running back and forth making, baking, melted and gettng ingridents to spend time and intructing. I could not have cared less of the dozen cupcakes I took home, I wanted the class for a learning expierence which to me a huge disapointment.

Hit or Miss

I've had one bad experience here, and one knock-you-out-of-your-chair good experience here.

BAD: I bought a cupcake here that was dry and a little bland. I mean, come on people, the cost of the ingredients for each cupcake is about 47 cents. Every hour, throw the stuff away, and start fresh. We're paying three dollars, so come on. There have to be volumes written about this in food service publications.

Also, I find it odd that there are never the same people working here. That's just weird. I assume they have turnover issues, which makes for some serious expenditures in training and supervising.

GOOD: I had the greatest cupcake of my life here last week. The Frozen Banana Cupcake was a revelation-- A moist vanilla cupcake with banana flavored icing, or vice versa, dipped in a hard shell coating of firm rich fudge-like chocolate and sprinkled with almond bits. Just spectacular. Elegant beyond belief. A triumph.
