I used to love P.F. Chang's but the last few times we dined there the service just was not what it should have been for the price we were paying to eat there. They no longer prepare the sauces for you at the table. You have to ask and then they seem annoyed that you would even ask. Wasn't that something they were known for? At this location it always seems like they are short staffed. The very last time we dined at this location we were seated with our 3 kids and it took them at least 15 minutes for them to take our drink order. I actually had to get up out of my seat to get someone. They did comp. us for our first round of drinks because I asked to speak to the manager, but that did not change my mind about coming to this location in the future.
Great Chinese restaurant, we love the dishes here. Great for lunch or dinner, and they also offer a wide variety of lunch specials. Not too loud, so it's so nice that you can hear your family and friends dining with you when they talk! Food comes out fast and fresh, and service is also fast and efficient. Our favorite dishes here are the Walnut Shrimp, Chicken in Lettuce Cups, Chicken with Vegetables, Hot Braised Fish, Braised String Beans, and Sauteed Asparagus with Chicken. Highly recommend!
There is nothing like a day of shopping on the Burbank strip, catching a movie and then having dinner and drinks over at Gourmet 88 with my girl. The Orange Chicken is the best in the world, the pepper steak is AMAZING and the citrus Scallops are to die for. I LOVE THIS PLACE. The service is top notch and the drinks are strong and tasty...I could eat here everyday. Just writing about it is making me hungry. :-)
The first time I went into Lotus was to get change for a school fundraiser we were having close by. They were SO nice and supportive of the local pre-school, I had to go back and check out their food. So glad I did. I LOVE their Kung Pao chicken and Honey Walnut Shrimp. All the food is so fresh and tasty. The restaurant is small and relaxing. Great for take out as well!
Not bad food. Usually not busy in the evenings. They have remodeled but I have not been back yet. I was a little run down before. One thing that is really annoying is that they have the carpets professionally cleaned monthly after 9pm and it is really loud for residents across the road even with our windows closed. Have some consideration for your neighbors.
After all the great recs we got for this place, I was very excited to try it. We got take out here and was sadly disappointed. The food wasn't bad, it just wasn't as good as our fave Chinese joint that recently closed. Most everything just didn't have much flavor. Was hoping this was going to be our new fave... but no.
Do not order online. We tried and every time we pushed submit it said cannot process order. We called the order in since it wouldn't work online and the food was great. Later that night we saw on our account the online order system charged us 7 times for the food. So definitely order by phone and not online.
Maria was recently our server and she was so sweet and helpful in helping us find some specific nutritional needs we had. The food was good and the service was excellent. Parking was a little tough but they do deliver as well. They also have helped with school fundraisers and were very generous.
It's a quite decent restaurant for Chinese food in the area. Ingredients are fresh and good. Dishes are delicious. My favorite is hot pepper eggplant. You can also order online through several websites. Very convenient overall.
Love this place and they love us! Lol...They always entertain my daughter and give her extra fortune cookies! We love their war wonton soup, spicy beef dish and pork, chicken and shrimp Kung Pao with brown rice! Delicious!
