Today I went to the service station on US 1 and CR 304 in Bunnell FL. Although I go there periodically to get gas, today I went to put air in a tire that was quite low. After putting money in the machine I realized that it was not working and that it was not refunding its quarters. I went into the store and told the clerk about my experience and asked for a refund. She advised me that the machine was not hers and that the space was just rented. she advised me that I should call the number on the machine. I suggested that since she would be seeing the operator that she should give a customer refund and take it up with the vendor and not ask a customer to chase a one dollar refund. After she again refused I suggested that she at least put a sign on the machine so that no other customers would lose their money. she again told me that it was "not her machine." The issue here is not the dollar. The issue is the total lack of caring and the dismissive attitude. I will never be back to that station for gas groceries or ANYTHING ELSE EVER. While you may not miss my business, I will be telling everyone in my circle of friends exactly what happened.
