First off, I bought three pairs of glasses from here all in the same few months.
The first pair I bought for my boyfriend (to replace his old set).
They worked fine.
They second set I received from Nationwide for myself were imperfect. By imperfect I mean they had scratches and peeling in the center of the glass as if they'd been nicked or not properly coated.
I asked about that before leaving, the lady told me to DEAL with it.
"Wow, sucky service. Maybe it'll go away." I thought as I went home. Driving became a hassle (I wear glasses every day all hours until I sleep) and doing chores and reading got harder because I couldn't see anything but the imperfections (I'm near sighted, so anything close to my face is easy to see) and it became to the point I felt like I was looking through several pieces of glass. I called and asked if this was acceptable and a manager saw me in.
Upon going in they made me PAY for my second set (a portion not full cost) for something that WAS NOT my fault. Sucky service once more. I couldn't go without the glasses so I begrudgingly accepted their offer though it was shill.
A year later and these glasses do the same thing.
THE GLASSES COATING CHIPS AND FALLS APART WITH EASE! EVEN MY BOYFRIEND'S GLASSES HAVE DONE THE SAME AND GOTTEN WORSE.
It's been almost two years now (there's no Nationwide in Washington state) and these glasses suck. I can only see glimmers of light refracting off the lens and it has a .... shower glass effect on my vision.
Please use another store. Even Walmart (I've had at least five pairs from there and though Walmart is cheap they didn't fall apart). BUYER BEWARE.
Corporate number doesn't even operate properly. Sends you to voicemail then hangs up before allowing you to leave a message. Terrible phone etiquette. Employees try to convince you that imperfections are normal when they aren't (I've worn glasses for over twenty years and that's the first two pairs I've ever had do that BOTH from Nationwide Vision)
