Friendship Learning Center is a Bad Place! - Your Kids would be better and smarter just by staying home sleeping. They call the teachers 'Teachers'. Most are just right out of High School who prefer not to work at McDonald's. - Most are hired with no Qualifications at all. I call them 'hired helpers'. When the children are behind closed doors in their rooms. They are yelled and screamed at. No level of learned education nor a good developmental place for a child! Staff is lazy - Nothing gets done there. The people that work there, say, they are only there because “just need money.”Bad center – Poor Quality. If you’re thinking about placing your child in this Center/daycare. Save your money. Save your time. - @ Friendship Learning Center – Nothing is good!

I love the staff here. The facility is clean and the classrooms are open and inviting. They take great care of my little guys and I am amazed by how much they learned. They are also a Quality Rated daycare which means a lot. I am so glad I found them when we moved to Buford. They helped us tremendously by helping us find a pediatrician and answering my millions of questions.
After searching numerous child care facilities for my first son, I walked into Wise Owl Academy (WOA) and was overcome with an incredible peace of mind. I knew the WOA family was the ideal place to entrust my child and provide him with the solid foundation for his elementary school years. Six years later and three more children, we continue to send our children to Wise Owl Academy. Our children have been served by the best nurturing preschool teachers, who demonstrate creativity, respect, patience, and flexibility. Employee turnover is extremely low and not a concern. As a NAEYC accredited child care center, Wise Owl Academy's curriculum prepared my first two sons extremely well for kindergarten. They continue to meet or exceed expectations in their academic areas, including the gifted program. No doubt, their academic achievement is a direct result of the emerging literacy and math skills taught to them during their early childhood years by the dedicated faculty at WOA. We presently have two children attending the school (four year old and one year old classes). The boys thrive in the multi-sensory environment and are genuinely happy. We are looking forward to joining the Georgia Pre-K program next year. The school's hours (6:30AM-6:30PM) are extremely beneficial for our family and conducive to both parents' work schedules. Tuition, which includes a morning/afternoon snack and lunch, is considerably reasonable when compared to other institutions. The school also offers a summer camp program which includes interactive field trips. I highly recommend Wise Owl Academy for your child care needs!
You won't find a more nurturing, organized, reliable and loving day care center than Wise Owl Academy. Our family has been with them since 2004!! My son started in the infant room when he was 5 months old and was there all the way through the pre-k program! He has many fond memories of his time at Wise Owl and often likes to talk about all the awesome things he used to do there, like playing on the "big kid playground" (yes, there are different playgrounds that each have age appropriate activities), getting to play on the putt-putt course, going to his favorite center (Science), observing the class pet Shmuker, learning the President's song, and the list goes on! He loved it so much that he still returns every summer to participate in their Summer Camp program which is the most robust program I have ever seen! The have themed weeks each summer and do activities and field trips to go along with the themes! I would say on average they are out on field trips at least 3 times week during the summer for the campers!! He LOVES IT!Then comes child # 2!! She too started out in the infant room at 6 weeks old and has been taken care of and loved on by each of her teachers. She is there everyday and can't wait to get to school every morning. She especially enjoys her morning hugs from Ms. Michele (the owner, who is onsite every day!) She comes home everyday with some new found knowledgeBoth my kids are bright and intelligent. My son is now in all accelerated classes in school and is one of the top readers in his class. I know a lot comes from the home and family environment, but I honestly believe that because of the strong foundation of learning, support, and encouragement that Wise Owl Academy provided to him for all those years it has made the difference. And I know that when my daughter goes to kindergarten, she is going to accelerate just like her big brother! So if you are looking for solid curriculum, fun learning environment, supportive, loyal, patient and friendly staff and teachers, look no further.....Wise Owl Academy has everything you need!!
We were happy with everything we've learned our daughter, she did not speak English when he started in wise owl academy. The teacher told me how lucky she was because at such a young age is going to be bilingual. Today she sings a song with the names of the presidents in perfect English. We are excited about the change we have seen in it, now she talk with other children because there is no language barrier.
My son has been at Wise Owl since he turned 3 and he's done great! He's come a very long way, they've done so much to help him and not a day goes by where I'm not surprised by something new he's learned.
Wise Owl Academy is an awesome learning environment for every child! They have such wonderful teachers/caregivers for the younger children that are educated and know how to challenge the children and teach them about their surroundings. There is also an awesome afterschool room that was just put in over the summer (2012) which I haven't seen offered anywhere else in the area. My son is in the toddler room which is very structured, and has an awesome teacher Mrs. Lindsey who is great with communicating to me as a parent about my sons day. I love working here and have been there for 4 years, and love that my son is now a part of the wonderful family at Wise Owl Academy. One of the best parts about the academy is that the teachers have all been here for so long and it is a consistent place for my little one to be!
