Poor customer service doesn’t begin to describe my experience with this dealership.
I purchased a brand new 2017 Indian Chieftain about 6 months ago. The bike has since broken down 3 times and had to be towed twice. The bike has being in their service facility twice since purchased. First time the bike was in for a week with the response that there was not much they could as the electrical issue was not something recalled from their factory. The loose wires were tighten up and a zip strap was put in as a solution to hold the wires in place.
This second time the bike simply stop working, the battery went dead and will not hold the charge. I was told there is a problem with the voltage regulator…. It’s been almost 3 week and I am yet to receive updates or a courtesy call from the dealership with the status of the bike.
When I call, it goes to voicemail, when demand to speak to a manager or the owner Ed Turner, there is no one around. I have to call multiple time to get information on the bike. Today I spoke with Sam and there is no update on what is really wrong with the bike or when it will be fix. I was told today to expect a phone call with an update tomorrow. I was told the same last week and the week before.
You would expect that 1st a 25K bike will not break 3 time in a six months period. You would also expect much better customer service from the dealership that sold that bike to you….
