North Buffalo natives and childhood friends, Victor Cali and Patrizio Gentile, were sitting in a New York city cafe when the idea for La Tavola Trattoria came to be. Finally, in May of 2013 they teamed with the talented executive chef Chris Luccari and turned that dream into a reality. La Tavola, which means the table in Italian, was named exactly for what a dinner table stands for- not only a good meal, but also the time shared with family and friends. One of the best features of La Tavola is our wood-fired oven. Our fresh tossed dough and highest quality of ingredients have made our pizzas the best in town. With ever changing specials, a variety of delicious small and large plates, and a beautiful selection of authentic Italian wines and handcrafted cocktails, we hope to see you soon!
