Haven House is a shelter for d...

Haven House is a shelter for domestic violence, has counseling and groups for domestic violence, is linked with the district police, Attorneys Office, Family Justice Center, all domestic violence counseling agencies, (do the intakes for domestic violence, are funded by many organizations and private donations, oversee all dometic violence agencies in Erie County per supervisor at Haven House.

My experience is that they refuse to help me, hang up on me, refuse to respond to my letters that were sent to supervisors, have "blackballed" me with all counseling agencies that deal with domestic violence therefore preventing me from getting any help for the past and current abuse. Their failure and refusal to tell me why they refuse to help me is most frustrating. I called one time with a third party witnessing on the phone what a supervisor was saying to me which was "No we will not help you and I am ending the call" and then hung up. This supervisor refuses to tell me why their agency will not help me even though they are funded by outside agencies. This agency is rude, unsympathetic, hangs up on me as soon as they hear my voice and has blackballed me with other counseling agencies that have domestic violence counseling. Therefore, I am left alone to grieve my pain of Domestic Violence with no help from even the Courts or the Police since Haven House has contacted them also.
